Halal Express Chicken and Gyros — Restaurant in City of Albany

Ordered the mix (chicken and beef) over rice and the quality of the meat was really good.. BUT the food was MUCH more greasy than food of this caliber should be and the MAIN reason why they got a 3 star from me is because of the amount of white sauce that they drowned my food in. Everyone likes a little extra white sauce but guys please believe me when I say that my food was completely DROWNED in white sauce. I didn’t even ask for extra. Great food - great people. Know them all by name, "The Boss", "The Sultan", "The big guy", "The Robot", "The rear dweller" and "The Crazy Man" is making guest appearances. As a whole they are "The Chicken People" They know me as "The Philly man".

They had a problem April 2017 and closed. A car drove into the building and totaled the whole shop. They have rebuilt. It was a big loss for the neighborhood.

04/13/18 - The chicken spot is open and better than before. Same people working there that were there when they had to close. So stop by and grab a meal you will be glad you did.

Literally a tiny joint located inside a gas station. The food was so sloppy. So much mayo and ketchup was layered onto my sandwiches. I ordered the philly cheesesteak and Italian burger combo. The heroes were much smaller than I expected. The philly meat was in large chunks and wasn’t chopped up; what cheese? The Italian burger had so much stale fries, I couldn’t barely find the thin layer of burger patty lost in it. The combo fries were burnt and stale.
