The intricate glass mosaic windows are unmistakably Tiffany, but what surprised us the most is that the whole place is a Tiffany masterpiece. The chandeliers were as eye catching as the glass.
This place is no longer a place of worship and is currently a museum run by a very friendly and passionate lady who introduced us to the place with a short tour, highlighting the history of the chapel (part of a seminary that stood in this once-sprawling site) and the beautiful art on display. We arrived not long before a wedding (or a rehearsal) was to take place, but Joan managed to fit us in for a brief tour and picture-taking. Read moreI was amazed to learn that everything inside the chapel was designed by Tiffany - the floors, walls, windows, chandeliers, pews, podiums, alter, etc. The only thing Tiffany did not lay claim to is the organ - which is beautiful! This place of worship is lovingly reffered to as 'Tiffany Chapel' because of this fact.
