Angelos Pizza — Restaurant in City of Auburn

They have parking on the side of the building. The restaurant doesn't have alot of room inside too eat. I've had Angelo's pizza twice now. It has been good both times. The garlic knots are AMAZING. They always have so much garlic butter and are semi crunchy on the bottom. The best garlic knots I've had in years.The pizza is really good too. Today we ordered a small pickle pizza. It has pickles, bacon and pickle ranch dressing. It was delicious. We definitely will be getting it again sometime . This place seemed to have a pretty steady flow of people dinning in and ordering takeout.I recommend giving this place a try you won't regret it............. Update This place was so good had too reorder from them again. Tried the garlic pizza and had a topping of ricotta added to it. Pretty good I would rate the garlic pizza four stars. Ordered four garlic knots aswell. Was a bit disappointed with the garlic knots this time. They were wrapped in foil and not in a box. Therefore they didn't have very much garlic sauce and were more doughy. Not as impressed with them this time. I'm thinking it was just a fluke though,because this is the third time I've ordered them and the only time they were like that.... Also I read another review about being charged more than the listed price in the restaurant. I did notice that the huge chalkboardish wall sign above where the employees are behind the counter is wrong. I ordered several garlic knots. The sign said you get a deal if you order so many of them like five or six. The girl behind the register stated no they are a $1a piece. So the sign above the employees listing prices of the food they sell IS INCORRECT. Just a disclaimer. I personally didn't care because I asked the employee & was aware I was being charged more...

On a trip to Bogota, Colombia, we had the luck of meeting Matt, a genuinely nice guy who owns Angelo’s Pizza back in Auburn. He was so enthusiastic about his place, insisting we come by if we were ever in town. Well, opportunity knocked when we found ourselves in Auburn for business, and we decided to take him up on his offer.

Let me tell you, stepping into Angelo’s Pizza was like walking into a friend’s home, so warm and inviting. We had planned to grab our pizza and go, but once we saw it, we couldn’t resist staying to eat. It was absolutely delicious. We got the classic cheese pizza, buffalo chicken and a white garlic slice, they were to die for.

Wow. Just wow. This has been the 4th or 5th attempt at getting a sheet pizza. One was 4 1/2 hours late. Another was a large cheese, when we ordered a sheet 1/2 pepperoni. It came SO many hours late, with all cheese. Today we ordered a sheet pie for a Birthday party. We ordered it for pickup at 2-30 pm. MANY HOURS EARLIER. It wasn't not only done by the time but they said they'd put it in as we waited. Okay. SOOOO another 1/2 hour later. We wound up with a "sheet pizza" box with an oval pizza inside. Cheese on HALF. Burnt out crusts and pepperoni sparingly on some. The rest was SO doughy. Gross. Disgustingly bad. I mean, this was the poorest pizza we ever PAID for. And OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN.
