I love the solitude and tranquility that Brand Park has to offer. I love how the historic pool and ramps look, almost like monuments that reflect the past. It is very clean and a nice spot to walk.

Brand Park in Elmira is a fantastic spot, especially if you're looking for a place that caters to both kids and adults. The park is well-equipped with a playground, basketball courts, baseball diamonds, and tennis courts, ensuring there's something for every active member of the family. For those who prefer a more relaxed afternoon, there are pavilions and barbecue grills available, perfect for picnicking while watching the kids play.

One of the highlights is the Brand Park Summer Concert Series, which brings the park to life every Sunday during the summer. The Brand Park Beautification Committee and local businesses sponsor these concerts, adding a lively and community-focused vibe.

The park has a rich history, dating back to a donation of land in 1901 by John Brand Jr. Over the years, dedicated individuals and groups like the Maple Avenue Task Force and the Brand Park Beautification Committee have worked hard to maintain and improve the park, adding features like a brick path, pathway lanterns, and a handicap-accessible pavilion. Although the pool is currently slated for demolition with plans to build a splash pad, there's hope that a Downtown Revitalization Initiative application might lead to even grander...

Nice benches and gazebo on one side. A skate park, a basketball court, a lot of open field space, a playground with a variety of fun activities for kids, a free sprinkler park, a pavilion with tables, a skate park, a basketball court, and an abandoned swimming pool are all located farther down (that of course we never entered since...

Small park with older structure. Maintaned efficiently and a good place to have a small family gathering, watch or play baseball games etc It seems to be more historical than anything. Like still in use because it was once a hoppin place for the city kids and neighbors to have fun together.... I guess lol I hope this...
