The Erie Lounge — Restaurant in City of Elmira

I was invited here by a friend, and when I parked... Let's be honest... It's a smallish unassuming place on the South side of Elmira, I wasn't even sure I wanted to go in. But hey, the parking lot and building were clean and put together & I trusted my friend, so in the back door I went. Wow, am I glad I did! This is a super nice place! The drinks were delicious, they made my go-to favorite perfectly and had a wide variety of seasonal specialty drinks, plus plenty of beer selections. The bartender was friendly, fast, and super-cute. The facility itself is very nicely put together, the owner obviously has a great eye for style and function, and the ladies room was clean. There was no smoking inside of course, but a large fenced in smoking area was out back with tables and looked like they probably keep it clean as well. Overall, I was very impressed with this place, I'm glad it's not too far from home. I overheard the bartender chatting with someone that the owner opens at 8am for night shifters to come in after work, which I happen to be, so I'm looking forward to being able to come in and have a drink after work one of the mornings, and of course I'm sure they will see me many more evenings...
