Eldridge Park Carousel — Attraction in City of Elmira

Great place to spend a lazy afternoon with younger kids. Unless there's an event going on, or if you just want to hang out for a couple hours for nostalgia's sake and play mini golf, don't expect more than 2-3 hours worth of your day however. They do have a small food stand for carnival fare (hot dogs, burgers, chicken, fries, etc) in a pinch. Tickets are reasonable for the rides, but check out and decide what your kids want to ride...

Great social atmosphere for all ages with a nature environment great for bike riding walking running or just sitting on a bench by the water also rides at very cheap prices including a motor boat and paddle boats and other events along with a few wild animals ducks geese seagulls fish and nice picnic areas by the water and at Pavilions great for celebrations...

I have many memories of riding the Eldridge Park Carousel from my childhood as I went there and spent time with my family. I would ride the hourses on the carousel and have a great time. Sometimes I would try to get the ring. I am looking forward to spending time there one day with Joey and Julia so I can share it with them and their oldeset...
