This Hannaford is extremely clean and the staff are very friendly. They usually have everything I’m looking for.
I don’t know if it’s the store or the store website that is the problem or the company “Shipt” that they partner with, but Hannaford delivery is VERY BAD. I have had numerous problems with their pick up and delivery options. I have ordered 6 lbs of ground beef and received 6 packages of 3lbs of ground beef. I have ordered 2lbs of bananas and received 2 bananas. I have received avocados that I could put my finger through, they were so soft. I find that their ordering is a bit unclear on their website, so you’re not quite sure what you’re getting. More recently, I decided to try again, I picked a 7p-8pm delivery window, at 8pm, Hannaford sent a text message saying that the delivery could not happen and instead they would deliver it the next day in the morning. I tried to call back but the phone line was busy and then it just rang and rang. I called “Shipt” and they cancelled the order. I went to the grocery store that night and bought my groceries myself, no problem. The next morning I get a text from Shipt, saying my order is going to arrive soon. I call hannaford, and they said my order was cancelled then rescheduled. In the long run, the delivery driver is going to return the food back to the store and we will see what happens, if I get a refund. I will not be using Hannaford delivery anytime in the future. Read moreHet everyone, it's me! The guy who still uses his blockbuster membership card as a form of id! Anyway. I like this Hannaford. For me it's a nostalgic time shopping there. My favorite cashier, Judy has been there for I believe 15+ years. I remember growing up. Shopping there with my dad, joining the army. Served two tours in Afghanistan, and each time I'd come back. Judy was there. Now I am much older! For I am middle aged now! I even have kids now. Now I take my boys to the grocery store has my father did me and his father before him and his before him.... And Judy is still there with the same smile and professionalism she's always had, promote ahead of peers ASAP and protect this woman at all costs she is a national treasure.
P.s. sometimes judy does not have a bagger so she bags your groceries. She should always have one regardless. But doesn't sometimes. Extend the generosity and kindness to Judy as she has to all customers for so long. And help her out. She works hard...
Read moreStore is clean, staff is nice and friendly. They have shortages and some bare shelves, just like every other store in the area. I shop 1 to 2 times a week there. Only thing I had problems with was their boneless chicken. I found 3 bones in the last package I bought. One piece was 2" long. I did send a message, got a reply asking for my phone # but no one has bothered to follow through. I buy my meat elsewhere now. Mistakes happen I get it, but getting no response from the store tells me to shop elsewhere for meat.
Update: I was told curtly (via text) that someone called and left a VM. I have NOT received any VM. Customer Care doesn't seem to care. I was told that my complaint was to be given to the 'right team' and that they would receive a call.
