This is my absolute favorite nature spot in all of Ithaca. Not only is it relatively secluded, the paths are all clear and easy to walk. I've happened to find several little hide away spots as well that give me the perfect inspiration for my art and writing. Whether you're coming with friends/family, or just to be alone, this is the greatest spot to relax and take in the beauty of nature around you, you can even take a quick dip in the water! The only downfall of thos location is how scarce the parling is. There is almost always nowhere to park, eapecially if you come...

Beautiful, well-maintained trail through peaceful wooded areas alongside the creek. The main trail is relaxing and easy, great for a quick stroll, but gets a little shady near the dam, nothing too bad. The lesser trails wind through the woods and are more wild and secluded. Careful if you take the upper trail out to Second Dam; it's pretty steep and slippery, and it gets very narrow in some sections with a pretty sheer drop-off. My dog loves coming here and sniffing/running around the trails and wading...

I haven't gone all the way down the river, but what I have seen was delightful (especially by moonlight). There is an abandoned warehouse of some sort on the other side of the bridge with the roof caved on, but I am not sure if you can walk up to it without trespassing, very cool old structure that looks like somebody was building an impregnable fortress in the cliff edge. Check it out from the bridge, great view from the road! I think they should install a plaque to explain...

Mulholland wildflower preserve is definitely the kind of place you go to in fall evenings for the perfect sunset ambiance with birds chirping and trees giving off amazing scents. I would highly recommend visiting here. Fortunately the waters aren’t super deep in parts, which makes playing soccer viable

Excellent easy trails, a bit muddy after the rains. Enjoyed the walk along the water. Interesting pipes along the pathways. Really can't get lost. Took our pooch. They do need to pick up garbage more often. Bins overflowing. Sharp decline/incline going in and out of parking lot.
