Le Cafe — Restaurant in City of Ithaca

I ordered a skim milk latte, oblivious to the fact that they have quite a limited selection of dairy (wasn’t aware of this until after I asked). I received my order, and I was excited to try it as I’ve heard nothing but amazing reviews about this cafe, but as soon as I drank my latte, I tasted something off. I brushed it aside— maybe it was a different brand of skim milk. The color and taste were just very different from the regular skim milk lattes I had. Of course, I was three quarters down my drink until I was curious enough to ask about their skim milk— the owner showed me a carton of half and half. The place looks nice and has a relaxed atmosphere, but we had very bad coffee experience on our first visit. My girlfriend's matcha just looked and tasted like milk, and my oat cappuccino had only a bit of oat foam on it, not mixed with the coffee. They probably also do not use the right kind of oat milk for coffee. When I tried to ask for some more warm oat milk to add, the employee did not understand what I wanted and gave me cold milk. Amazing new cafe, highly recommend every comes here! It features light fare like sandwiches/toast, Kimbap, ramen, and Yubuchobap, and drinks include standard cafe drinks like teas and coffees in addition to fruit ades with real fruit in them.
