Okay so where to start!
Last night 7/19 we went there to see Big Thief (who were absolutely incredible btw) - but good lord the bedside manner of the staff here seriously needs to be cleaned up.
I’m not totally sure as to why every single employee I spoke to last night seemed to have seriously condescending tone - ask about the bathrooms? Attitude. Ask about alternative seating? Attitude. Despite me emailing earlier about their camera policy - there was still a problem with taking photos with our phones.
It wasn’t made very clear if this was requested by the artists themselves, or if it’s the theaters policy. This went as far as firmly tapping my friends shoulder when they saw her pull out her phone and reprimanding her on the spot.
What really sent me was the fact that there was a 50+ year old man recording every 3rd song or so for the entire show, and not a single word was said to him. If you’re going to enforce your rules, do it equally. Don’t single people out like that like some middle school game of dodgeball. Do your job pragmatically and equally. Last but not least, the seating here sucks and they’re probably older than the majority of people reading this review. Zero accessibility for plus size folk, and not to mention the air conditioning barely did anything for the 3+ hours we were...
Read moreLoved the concert we went to, very disappointed with the venue. First, I will acknowledge that when we bought tickets it was for the Hutton Brickyards and the venue changed. My husband attempted to email and find out if there were seats here as we live out of state and have never attended a show here. He got a non-answer, to which he responded and never heard back. For the record, there are only seats. Two points that made this a terrible experience- you cannot bring any food or drink (including WATER) into the theater. I've been to some upscale historic theatres and even they allow water, so this was ridiculous in my opinion. Also, there was nothing stating we couldn't take pictures or record sections of the show on our tickets, but this is a rule of the venue. And they employees were absolutely savage about it. So much that it was disturbing our ability to watch the show & they weren't addressing us as we weren't attempting to record anything. Definitely would not go back as there are better options. Lord Huron did put on an amazing show and I'd love to see them again.......
Read moreWe bought front row seats to see the newsboys specifically because I have lupus and Castlemans Disease and am very immune compromised so I had front row end seat and I also have severe panic attacks and don't like being between people. Anyways we went and during the concert I woman came down and was standing in the isle blocking my view the people working told her she couldn't stand in the isle to go back to her seat 5 mins later a guy in a big motorized seat rode up hit my foot and proceeded to sit blocking part of my view and causing me to feel enclosed. They literally did not say anything to him and let him stay because he's handicapped. But his seat he purchased was in the back im sorry but I feel if the woman wasn't allowed to stand there handicapped or not he shouldn't have been nor is it fair to us who spend the money to have front row and who purchase end seats for specific reasons. I'm sorry I think it's wrong that they treated him differently and allowed him to break the rules. It's wrong. Plain and simple. I will not...
