Kennedy Fried Chicken — Restaurant in City of Kingston

I must admit that I have a problem- an addiction actually. I just can't get enough of Kennedy's Fried Chicken. It's a combination of the perfect batter and cooking, leaving a perfect texture and juiciness that is unlike any other fried chicken that I've had in the past. Compare it to a chain restaurant like KFC or Popeye's- no comparison. If you order it, make sure you enjoy a piece on the way home as that's the climax of the taste- fresh from the fryer. We usually get a larger order and eat leftovers for the next few days. It remains crispy and doesn't get soggy like you would expect.

The staff is awesome and very friendly. I have a lot of respect for this hard working family who consistently delivers quality food. Whenever I order food, they always seem very thankful for my business. Today I came Kingston from NewYork city along with my family to enjoy the the Catskills mountain train. As a Muslim I was looking for a halal restaurant for our lunch. I found Kenedy fried chicken and ordered 5 items. I saw the order taking guy(Spanish 20/22 years old)was too much rude while I was making order. After paying I went to my car and saw the receipt one item he overcharged. I came back to him and asked him but he became mad to me. He said that he is too much busy he can’t solve the problem I have to wait. I waited 20 minutes but he didn’t talk to me about the problem. Then again I asked him,now he became more mad to me and he told me gate out. Then i told him I will call cops then another guy came from inside the store and solved the problem.I was too much disappointed with their behavior.The order taking guy doesn’t have any abc knowledge about customer service. Terrible food, unprofessional service & workers with nasty attitudes, unclean with roaches, dangerous part of town where crack heads shoot up & constant fighting. They actually sell drug paraphernalia & cigarettes behind the counter with the food. Management encourages these disgusting practices. Stay away (Kennedy Fried Chicken, 342 Broadway) is best or just go to KFC.
