I called this location at 6:35am, pressed 1 to speak with administrative office to ask about senior citizen special shopping hours during this Covid pandemic. I specifically told the gentleman who answered the phone I would be accompanying my mother who is a senior citizen and asked would I be allowed in with her. He said yes but only two people per membership. We get here and I asked the person you see in the picture where the line for seniors was and he immediately replied to me “you’re not 60” I explained I’m here with my mother who is over 60. He then tells me that I will not be able to go in with her. I told him I specifically called and was told by admin that I could. He then proceeded to tell me that never happened because there is no admin there in the morning. Now, offended I said “ are you telling me I’m lying? He was very nasty and very unprofessional. He then tells me I can stand in line if I want to but they are checking id and they won’t let me in. I didn’t say another word to him. I called admin again to verify my earlier conversation and of course no one knew who or what I was talking about. They apologized if someone gave me inaccurate information but they could not let me in. So with the understanding that I would not be let in I continue to stand in line with my mother. This person, in the picture sees that I am stills in line and I guess this was getting under his skin. He begins to target me and me mother and oretty much Harrassment is whole on line. First, he goes to his coworker, Jesus, starts pointing at me and talking, I couldn’t hear what he was saying though... next thing I know Jesus is running over to the fourth row line ( the line we were on and was very anxious to check I’d. Normally they check your ID at the door as I saw they were doing with everyone else that going in before us. Then a little while later this person in the picture comes over to us again and tells me that I must step off the line and that he will stop the line from moving as long as I was on the line. Now, mind you I was not planning on going in but I was going to leave my elderly mother standing there in line outside in the cold by herself. So I told him, I’m not moving off the line and if you want to punish your customers for no reason then go right ahead. 2 minutes later, this person in the pictures comes back again, with another worker named Jesus and a police officer. The officer then proceeded to tell me that they were not going to let me in at the door and that that they were now threatening to cancel both of our memberships... I’m sure this came from that person in the picture... Now we have been members since 2004 and never had any issues with Costco until this person was encountered. I told the officer, I had no intentions of going in after I spoke with admin, I was simply waiting in line with my mother. I then got off the line because that person in the picture was actually stopping the line we were in because his Ego had taken total control of the situation. Mind you, I did nothing but stand there with my Mother and this person in the picture continues to harass me for no reason at all... I got off the line because I actually care about people and did not want this man to make them stand out in the cold because of me. I then called the administration office again and asked that a manager come to the front and speak with me. A very professional woman by the name of Arizona, came out and I explained what happened. I asked the person in the picture to give me his name and his title but he refused. If you are representing a company you can’t hide your name and title but he knew his behavior was unacceptable so I’m sure that’s why he was hiding his information. I did find out from his supervisor that his name is Mandela, and he is a supervisor... he needs customer service training, he does not have the skills it takes to...

First time at Costco New Rochelle and let me say—this place had potential. Shelves were stocked like the apocalypse was tomorrow, and everything sparkled with organizational pride. It was like walking into a warehouse version of Disneyland. That’s where the magic stopped.
Need help finding something? Good luck. Asking an employee where an item is got me the equivalent of a shrug in sentence form: “I’m not sure… try aisle… umm… maybe 311? Or 12? Or the moon?”
After buying enough to stock a bunker, I did what every red-blooded Costco fan does—I headed to the Costco Café for a chicken bake and soda. This is where the real adventure began.
I used the self-serve kiosk like the tech-savvy shopper I am. Then stood at the designated “Pickup” area, patiently waiting for my number to be called, because I thought, Hey, I’m in Costco, not Times Square on New Year’s Eve. BIG mistake.
21 minutes later, still no food. No number called. No sign of my chicken bakes. Just me, the crowd, and what looked like a human traffic jam in front of the food counter.
I politely approached the register to inquire, where I was met by an employee named Ali, who I can only assume moonlights as a drill sergeant. He barked at me that the right side was for whole pizza pickup, and the left side was for individual orders.
How was I supposed to know this?! No sign. No arrows. No map. Not even a friendly New York City pigeon pointing the way.
Still, I returned to the correct side. Five more minutes passed. Meanwhile, 15 golden chicken bakes sat on display, taunting me like a carbs-filled mirage. I asked Ali again if my order was ready.
This time, he screamed—yes, screamed—at me to look at the “stack of tickets” coming out of the machine and “wait my turn.”
Total wait time? Over 30 minutes for 2 chicken bakes and a soda… and a full-blown verbal assault.
Listen—I didn’t come here for fine dining, I came for melted cheese and chicken wrapped in dough and a soda. But I didn’t expect to be treated like I was trying to smuggle frozen shrimp in my pockets.
Costco, I love you, but this was chaos wrapped in rudeness, dipped in confusion, and baked at 400 degrees. Please train your staff, add a sign or two, and maybe remind Ali that yelling isn’t a food group.
You got two stars because the chicken bake was good… once I found it… and recovered...
Read moreAt your new rochelle location, I had a terrible experience at the self Checkout lane today with one of the employees who refused to help me and abandoned her post. I waited on the long line to come to the self check out and the lady named brenda said I had a shop too much to go to the other other cashier where I had to wait on the long line again. I told her there were no signs stating there were a limit for the self checkout and I had my child with me she was tired.
I had shopped at the self checkout numerous times before with a lot more stuffs. I started scanning all the little stuffs , I had couple of large items like water case and cereal boxes on the shopping cart, I asked Brenda to help me scan the rest item, she refused to help me she said no I told you everything will not fit. I told her I have never place water cases on the register, it usually gets scanned on the shopping cart. I also told her if she is not willing to scan to give me the hand scanner so I can do it,. She just turned back and left. She just abandoned her post. I paid to shop at Costco, I get treated with disrespect. Asked for the store manager, some other employee claiming to be a manager, named sherryl, tells me that I should have listened to her in the first place. I have been shopping there with a payed membership, went through the self checkout. With way more merchandise, I was helped before, and not to mentioned they scaned other costumers merchandise from there shopping cart, and they gave me an attitude in front of my five year old daughter. Trying to play me like a fool. Your employees were unprofessional, and didn't want to provide service when requested and tried to brush me off because the I was pushing a load that may been to much for them.i put up a picture of the shopping cart they refuse to...
