D'Onofrio Park — Attraction in City of New Rochelle

Nice park with covered gazebo, playground and baseball field. I was pleasantly surprised the bleachers are shaded. We've attended a party here as well as played sports. My star deduction is because of the unleashed dogs. We are dog lovers, but to the left of where we parked is a patch of grass with no fence. Someone was playing fetch with 2 large dogs, and they kept running to the parking lot to greet people. Had one of them gotten hit by a car it would have been devastating for the kids to witness.
