It is actually split into three segments the top half has your playground, bbq area,a gazebo area and nature trails that lead all the way to Oneonta high School the second segment is more of a dog park section and the last is where the public pool(free to all that live in town and summer passes available for outside town resident s) tennis court volleyball court and basketball court are located.

Between this park and Neawah WILBUR PARK is way better! It’s cleaner, peaceful, and there’s no townies. The other park is usually swamped with townies who are usually too busy staring at their phones to pay attention to their annoying children raising hell (that’s if the kids are even being supervised).

Love this park! There are terrific paths throughout the park. A large playground for kids is surrounded by fields perfect for flying a kite. A covered pavilion with picnic tables and public bathrooms is close to the playground. Be sure to check out the Little Free Library while you're there.

I visited this park, not finding the playground as my family intended. As I am not a local, being on a vacation from NYC, I didn't explore enough to find the playground. We did come across the pool area but were not prepared for that kind of outing. Instead, my children showed interest in exploring the nearby creek. It was a totally different experience for us than we are used to. We're always surrounded by the busy city life, so taking in its beauty, watching the tadpoles, and tranquility was just enough to make the trip...

Could use a little updating, but it's a fine facility. The bathrooms leave much to be desired, but there is running water, which is something. The Pavillion also has electricity I believe, which is a definite plus if you are hosting a party there. The pavilions in each park are available to reserve for a reasonable fee, which varies depending on the size and whatever accommodations it has. There are two playground areas, one for the Littles and one for the bigger kids, and a substantial grassy area for whatever personal...

Wilber Park is a beautiful park in the city of Oneonta, there is something for everyone, pleasant walking, tennis courts, a quality playground, nice pavilion with picnic tables and grills nearby. The city pool in season, what more could you ask for, a park in the country! I have one request of the city of Oneonta, how can you possibly tarnish this place with a restroom that is disgraceful. Clean might make it better a bit, but take a good look please and you should know what...
