Hill City Grill — Restaurant in City of Oneonta

First time going here on a whim they absolutely get 5 stars despite me not liking my burger.ill get to that.. seated quickly everyone friendly super talkative nice knowledgeable about everything. We ordered the calamari for our appetizer with the chili sauce while hesitant bc we wanted marinara it was soo good! My gf got the chicken dish with prosciutto that was delicious! I ordered the black and blue burger. I am a big fan of blue cheese but this kind i really disliked.it was overwhelming strong which i usually like.but just not this one. The burger had excellent taste to it however it was a little too tough. The bun was over toasted and hard to eat i told the server and she was super nice and very apologetic about it.they took the burger off the bill as i didnt eat hardly 1/4 of it. With that being said we already talked of going back and trying other dishes.if you are in the area definitely give them a nice it really is a very nice place 5...

I attended the restaurant with a semi big group. We had a reservation ahead of time. But it didn't seem that busy to me personally, however, it could've been to the staff there as I've waitresses in busier atmospheres. Anyways everything started off awesome got our food it was delicious but then it went from 1 hour and 15 minutes in and we've all eaten to sitting for another hour and forty five minutes before we were finally cashed out after fixing checks and losing peoples credit cards. I just wouldn't go back with a big group. Other big groups that had other staff seemed more smoothly operated than ours for whatever reason. Food was great!...

Hill City Grill is Oneonta's gem. Food was outstanding and our server was the most polite young waitress I ever came across. My fiance and I walked in on a last minute choice and was able to sit at the bar. The Salmon melted in my mouth and my fiance had their beef tips special which he fell in love with. The place was beautiful and clean. I just would like the owner to know his or her staff are awesome and I heard they are opening another place and hope it's just as good which I have know doubt.
