Creative Design Guild — Attraction in Clawson

I was trying to figure out how this shop had such high ratings and then I realized all of the reviews were from more than a couple years ago. There must be a new upholsterer in the shop because the work that I experienced was not at all in line with the other reviews. Some of the worst upholstery I have ever seen, spent a week and a half repairing a living room set that came from this shop. Customer said it took them more than 6 months to complete the job, no dust cover on the chair, no tack strip used on skirt lines, patterns didn’t match or were crooked, padding lumpy everywhere. Skirts and upholstery just fell off the frame, they used staples that were way too short, cushion was cut way too small, skirt was comically high, arm panels didn’t match. Absolutely...

Warning: The rave reviews for Creative Design Guild are old and almost all mention Luann. According to the son, Rodney, who is doing most work now, his mother (Luann) rarely does upholstery any more.
