OK, so we ordered a catering option online three days before our party and set the food pickup time online for 1:15 PM. On the day of the party, I called two hours ahead of the pickup time to make sure they had received our order and that everything was on schedule for the pickup two hours later. The person who answered the phone said they had the order and everything was set. OK, great. I walked in the door at 1:12 - three minutes before my pickup time. The place was empty, and the three employees were behind the counter. The two cooks were standing at the prep table just talking to each other. I saw what looked like my order halfway prepped behind the counter and thought, "Good, they just need to put the last item in there and I'll be on my way." Wrong. The two prep guys were having a grand old time joking with each other, when one of them eventually decided to START putting my pieces of chicken in the fryer to be cooked. Yeah, they were nowhere near ready yet. I didn't say a word. At one point, the two guys started bantering with each other about when that chicken should have been cooked. One of them says, "See? If you would have put the chicken in earlier, it would have been done by now. The guy who put them in the fryer responds out loud, "Yeah, but at least they'll be getting fresh chicken now!" At 1:32 - nearly 20 minutes after my food was supposed to be ready and still waiting for my food - I approached the counter again. As I was walking to the counter, one of the prep guys said to the other one in a joking tone, "See, the guy is going to ask why his chicken wasn't ready 15 minutes ago!" Yeah, he was talking about me - where I could hear him plain as day because there was no divider between them and me in the lobby. So, I said, "What does my receipt say for the pickup time?" They said, "1:15." I said, "Yeah, OF COURSE I want to know why my food isn't ready yet. This isn't funny. I'm missing my kid's birthday party because you guys are busy talking to each other and my food should have been ready 20 minutes ago." The stupid thing is, one of the items that we ordered were fries and they WERE one of the things ready when I got there. But, you want to know a food that tastes terrible when you finally eat it an hour after they come out of the fryer? Yeah, fries. The chicken was fine, but my God... When the pickup time says 1:15 and it's a catering order, it's probably safe to assume that the food is for some sort of party and that timeliness might be important. But, putting the chicken in AFTER I get there? The worst part is, one of my friends at the party had placed a similar catering order two weeks prior and said this location did the exact same thing to them. GET YOUR...

PLEASE STOP GIVING THIS CHICKEN SHACK YOUR BUSINESS!!! I wish I didn’t have to give any stars! The older lady with the purple hair that claims to be the manager Hedi is so very RUDE! I had placed an order over the phone at 2:30pm she said it would be 20-25 minutes. I came a little after 3pm to give them more time as I completely understand places are short staffed. When I got there I went to the counter paid and stepped to the side I had thought she went to get the food. I Patiently waited even gave them until 3:30 an hour after I placed the order I went back up to the counter and politely, very nicely and in a low voice asked “ I was just wondering if you have a time frame of when the order would be done?” Mind you there are 3 other people in there waiting as well. She turns to the girl cooking the food and says very loud “NOW CUSTOMERS ARE YELLING AT ME!” not understanding what I did wrong by nicely asking her about my order that is now over an hour late. I asked her “excuse me mam who is yelling at you? I just asked you when my order would be ready? So I’m not sure how you took that as yelling?” She exploded at this point screaming “ IM CRIPPLED, SHES PREGNANT, YOU CAN LEAVE!” (There was much more!) At this point the pregnant girl cooking the food has my order ready so Hedi takes the potatoes and fries slams them in the bag the containers break open all over the bag. She throws the bags at me screams at me to “LEAVE AND NEVER COME BACK!” I was completely Mortified and embarrassed. I also had my son with me who was upset by this as well. I was in tears it was absolutely awful! We could not eat the food at this points I tired to give the food back and get a refund and she absolutely refused said they can’t refund credit cards and I have to go to corporate. The number I was given was bogus! Something needs to happen for this to be made right!

It was only 2 people working and they were just as busy if not more busy they had the new order ready in 20 minutes!
