Introducing Love Lady Antique Shoppe😂 what happened to this place? Went by a couple days ago and almost everything I picked up, which was 30+ items was priced at the same retail price as you could find online so what’s the point? Recently I guess and antique dealer had donated their inventory after going out of business so love lady saw it fit to leave all these tags on and price their own tags about a dollar cheaper…I also noticed that several pieces of furniture that was there 3 months ago is still there bc it’s priced crazy high for furniture with dings and dents. Look it I get that attempting to hose your customers for every single dime you can is what most businesses do these days but you are a thrift store, your job is to move tons of inventory quickly not price it so high that everything will sit for months. Read moreAs a thrift store Lovelady is at the top. Very clean, no musky old clothes smells and everything is so organized. I've shopped in thrift stores all over and LL is#1!! I have only one complaint.... It's so damn hot in there that you would run the Devil 😈🔥 himself out. And not just one time it's every time I go in. Ok in Al summer it might be hard to cool a older building but this carries over into the winter and it's not just me I ask other people including employees everyone agreesllll Hot,Hot, Hot!!!! I have actually left the store when I would rather not have because of the very uncomfortable HEAT. Tonight the girls. had the front doors open still hot as you know where. Please management take this into consideration. I'm sure I'm not the only one that feels this way. And it's not enough to keep me from shopping there but it would sure be nice to be a little...
Read moreMost of the donations people make to the thrift store under the impression it is going to help women and children are thrown away or sold in semis and bales elsewhere. The women from the center are FORCED to work there under the guise of "work therapy". This store makes very healthy profits- Very healthy- but please go take a look at the rat and roach infested dilapidated building the women live in. There is rarely hot water and they eat donated sometimes expired food. Please investigate for yourselves and when the ladies are rushed or aren't as friendly it is because they are often being forced to work doubles in a sweatshop-type environment. Please look into the non-profit numbers and donations you are contributing. The profits ARE NOT all going to the center. Look into their accounts. The numbers don't...
