Deep Hole Park — Attraction in Clear Lake Shores

Although yesterday we were ashamed of having any part in this place i will rate it for my memories! Everything else was awful. Oh tip: wear your designer clothes and pull up in your real vehicle, because if you wear clothes like your about to fish and borrow a suv to not pull any unwanted attention at youselfs....guess what you will end up with worse attention. So go in you designer gear and get a designer tackel box! Take you vet or tucks! This place has become a snob place! I will never go back! My family is humble and we keep away from eyesight! Was fishing for about 2 hours when we hear a big splash in the water… IT WAS OUR POLE THAT GOT PULLED IN THE WATER BY A BIG FISH. We thought about jumping in the water, we tried flagging boats down to help us get our pole and that BIG FISH out the water. Eventually since that wasn’t working we used the other pole to try to pull in the lost pole, got it stuck on the tree :( cut the line and put more weights on it. A couple minutes later and it got hooked onto something, reeled it in real slowly and seen it was THE POLEEEEEEEE!!!!! Yuppiiieee Got the pole back and it’s a win for us…. But...

Cute little park, my son and I enjoyed a few hours of fishing after we cleaned off the dock from the previous day’s mess left by folks.

Sadly the folks that frequent this place do not care to take care of it. There were two well placed trash cans yet trash littered all over the dock, beer cans, water bottles, cigarette butts, raw chicken wings with rope tied for crabbing still hanging from the dock, cut bait pieces littered in the grass area and boards of the dock. Not cool.

Please show some respect to the residents nearby and clean up...
