Honest Prices and Real Customer Service!
We can’t say enough good things about this company and the staff. My husband was out of town when we had our boat delivered from Florida to Texas. I was at the dock to meet the captain in August on one of those 115 degree Texas summer days and just like that the AC stopped working! I was frustrated and didn’t know the systems. I called Yacht Equipment Services and they showed up the same day to help. The technician (Jason) spent all day walking me through the system, what happened, what needed to be replaced and offered options on the replacement parts so we could choose the most affordable route. This was one of those times where I was in a corner, needed to get this fixed right away and didn’t ask price questions. So come time to settle the invoice I was expecting the worst. I went into their office and was pleasantly surprised at the cost since it was way under what we have come accustomed to pay given our experiences with south Florida dealers!
Fast forward a few weeks and we had a centrifugal pump go out on a Saturday afternoon. We called Y.E.S. marine again and they had already closed for the day. However, we called their cell and he came back to open the shop to see if he had the pump. Turns out he didn’t have the part we needed but the simple fact that he stopped his day to reopen for us is customer service rarely found in the boating industry. The staff we have met have all be professional, friendly and easy to work with. We love doing bussiness with companies like this and will continue to call them first...
Read moreJason at Y.E.S. spent two days working on my boat air conditioning system. I have three units with two pumps. Two units were indicating high pressure and shutting down. Jason back-flushed the units, descaled them and the hoses, and topped them off with refrigerant. I was impressed with this young man’s organization skills as he worked on other parts of the repair while the descaling was going on. He even repaired a leaking Pex tube he found at my water heater. I enjoyed Jason’s enthusiasm and eagerness to get the job done. He wouldn’t even stop for lunch! Also, he never made me feel like I was getting in the way and patiently explained his plan and what was going on. I’ve owned several boats and dealt with many service techs. None have been as agreeable or have done such quality work as Jason. If you get Y.E.S. to work on your AC, just hope you are lucky enough to get Jason assigned to your job.

Read moreEveryone I have dealt with is fantastic. I feel like I am the kind of guy that makes shops like this unprofitable so I at least go out of my way to trade with them at every chance I get. I am learning to work on my yanmar and I have spent countless hours on the phone talking through diagrams with employees to get the right parts. Without their knowledge I would not have been able to perform these moderately complex repairs and while I only ended up buying filters, gaskets, bolts, seals and relatively cheap parts from them, at least they can rest assured they have a customer for life. I am happy to order a part from them, take off work early and make the drive to Kemah to pick it up so I can install on the weekend. Glad to have a great yanmar servicer so...
