Paid for 2 season passes and got 3 bring a friend free passes. $75 each for an adult n 10yr old. It's really gone downhill, but a few issues that need more attention and I guarantee they will be successful! I really only go to swim. My boy likes swimming and rides. 1 free parking is great but vip needs car tags back like they used to have this way only pass holders park in front rows. 2 is the option to bring a small cooler in to keep waters cold. You allow waters in but nothing to keep them cold so your there an hour and your water is warm! 3 please get these rides right or post the closings don't false advertise!! 4 some of the staff are very rude and some are very kind. 5 invest in some more family tubes for the big slide, you have to wait forever to ride and 1 or 2 is not good enough by far. 6 Paint the water park anywhere that folks swim, there are a lot of chips!! 7 is the water park bathrooms need regular attendants hired to clean and monitor the filth. 8 the wave pool and lazy river started out clean but by August it was gross. Let me explain why lol no one enforcing swim diapers or bathing suits. Even if for religious reasons you can buy a suit!! I watched a kid be pulled from one tube to the other in the river and all the diaper stuffing fell out in the river. Lifeguard just looked away, I left fast! I watched a man fully clothed sneakers with socks and all swim in the wave pool and spit down into water as he walked out. Lifeguard right there watching. Thongs everywhere lol don't be afraid to enforce your own rules that are posted when you enter. 9 no one actually running river entrance so no line all summer people just cut into river n grab tubes as they can. 10 more seating please more seating. Goods are the vendor food, pizza hut and wing kitchen. No where else or you will be sorry! Bring a car picnic if you have too. Crowds are hit or miss and honestly camps were the worst cause the older kids were rotten. My son met a lot of new friends with his age kids. A lot of kids wondering with no supervision, cutting lines, and just acting up period. Weekends a little busier, which should be expected. The pass is worth it for some local cheap fun if your not expecting a small version of Six Flags or Hershey and don't mind rachesity from time to time 😂😂 next year we doin Diggerland or Sahara Sam's water park see how they are. Again you can't beat local fun!! Thanks for the season. Sorry so long I wanted to give an honest review. I'm 44 and been coming to the park since I was a child and teen. Came with my 20yr old and her cous, we came 4-5 yrs straight with passes but stopped because of park issues. I now have a 10yr old and figured we'd try it for staying cool. Company picnics are cool too, we used to come with my...
Read moreWhere do I begin? First of all, it doesn’t open until 11am. For some people that’s not a big deal. I’m not a morning person so I didn’t mind. What bothered me was that they have, if I remember correctly, 3 different water slides but they don’t open at the same time. One of them didn’t work at all and never opened which sucked because it was the one my niece and nephew were looking forward to the most. One of the kiddie pools didn’t open until 1/2 way through the day. The wave pool was the best part but not that big and since almost 1/2 the water rides weren’t functioning 1/2 the day it was pretty crowded. If you’re not going to open until 11 then that leaves plenty of time to make sure everything is functioning correctly and ready to go. Second, the food was expensive. Now I’ve been to other water parks so I know how much I’m going to end up paying for a lunch. But an old burnt piece of chicken on a stale bun with a side of fries with mystery seasoning and a fountain with no lid or straw costed me $27! I’ve spent less for more and better at Morey’s Pier in Wildwood plus Morey’s Pier allows you to bring in your own food. No such luck at this place. At least there’s free parking though. Third, the lifeguards are a joke. Swim at your own risk because the lifeguards either don’t pay attention or genuinely just seem annoyed. I was in the lazy river with my family and this little boy, about 8, was in a tube kinda just stalled against the side and not going anywhere. He was starting to get upset and a little panicky. There was a lifeguard standing right there so the boy asked him for a push. The lifeguard looked at him and walked away! My niece went and helped him. I made sure to keep an extra close eye on my niece and nephews after that! Fourth, the bees! You know those yellow jackets that mainly hover around trash cans? Yea they were almost everywhere because there were trash cans everywhere since you could take your food to your seats. I don’t know what was more annoying. The bees or sea gulls. All in all, aside from my personal opinions and grievances, the park seems pretty poorly run, needs a serious upgrade and their dry rides look like they might need a tune up or simply be replaced. I don’t recommend to anyone. At all. For any reason. Also, there was recently a shooting in their parking lot after a fight so yea....
Read moreI had to delete my previous review because by the end of the day there was nothing else I had to say besides:
AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU HAVE A BEE STING ALLERGY.
The bees are a SIGNIFICANT problem. Forget any redeeming qualities this park has (and it has very few). The price just isn’t worth it. With the amount they charge they could easily hire someone to help with the bee problem, but they don’t seem to be doing anything about it. They are EVERYWHERE. You can’t escape them. I’m honestly shocked there wasn’t an ambulance in and out of there every 30 seconds due to someone having an allergic reaction from bee stings. They are RELENTLESS. All of the trash cans look like beehives.
There were a mix of yellow jackets and honey bees. So I can understand trying not to kill the honey bees but it’s extremely dangerous.
We couldn’t eat because the bees kept buzzing around us. If you do nothing, they keep coming, if you swat at them, they get pissed. If you try to run, the seagulls will snatch everything up the second you aren’t hovering over your food, and the bees will chase you anyway.
You can’t walk 30 feet without passing a trash can, and that’s where they’re the worst. You can’t throw anything out because they get territorial. I was so fed up after 2 hours I had to leave. I genuinely cannot describe in words how traumatized I was from trying to escape them. There is no escape.
Cons: -BEES -BEES -MORE BEES -The seagulls -One of the janitors (? I’m not sure what else to call them) almost knocked my kid out with a broom because he was walking around not paying attention while he was mindlessly swinging(and I mean swinging) it around. The rest of the clean up crew laughed when I pulled my kid away at the last second. -bathrooms are gross -a lot of the attractions are closed -the rides SOUND like they’re about to fall apart -the price is not worth any of it
PROS -deep fried donut (it’s heaven) -one of the lifeguards was SO awesome. He played with the kids while he was was watching the splash pad area and it was the CUTEST thing I’ve ever witnessed.
I took a few videos of the bee infestation, but google will only let me post photos. You can’t see much in the pictures. Also, one of the workers got pissed I was taking a...
