Recreational Pots and Plants — Attraction in Cleveland

This was my third time visiting this plant shop. Street parking, but I have never had an issue finding a close spot. The owner is AMAZING! She knows her stuff and will willingly pass her knowledge on to you. She does not sell junk. She also lets you bring plants back to "repair" if you "accidentally" half-kill them. Reasonably priced, with specials offered before new shipments come in. Readily available to answer questions over the phone, in the event that you cannot get to her.

Review: I will continue to support this shop for as long as I can. The owner is just a doll! 😊 It can be a little hot in her shop when the temperature outside is high, but it is not unbearable. She also has a nice selection of products downstairs, which may not be as accessible to the older or disabled population. I also wish there were a tad more affordable pots avaliable for purchase. But all in all, it is definitely worth the drive if you are in the Lakewood area. I spent $51 (after tax) for four beautiful house plants! I do not believe that I will be buying my plants from...

I can NOT say enough POSITIVE things about Recreational Pots and Plants. I have reached out to them on a number of different occasions via Facebook messenger. My cat ate my mini monstera the first day I brought it home, so I sent a direct message to see how to save the plant and if it was toxic. They responded quickly with concern for my cat, tips to save the plant and even offered me a replacement (which I refused since the plant getting eaten was ultimately my fault). I have also reached out for tips on sunlight/water needs for some plants and most recently, a mealybug issue and how to treat it. They have responded each and every time with great advice and kindness.

While on the search for a new plant they will assist you in choosing one that will best suite your style. They also have a good selection of pots and planters that are made by Cleveland artists. They also generously provide information about the plant you're purchasing while checking out.
