Oh my goodness, where to begin with this AWFUL place!! So not only is it EXPENSIVE (just go to a Goodwill or Salvation Army for the same junk at 1/8 of the price) for example, bumper stickers should NOT cost $15 and you shouldn't pay $38 for some random dog chachki that you could get from Dollar Tree! The BIGGEST problem with this place is the staff/owners! They are so incredibly rude, you can see in other reviews that people agree with me.
I was there with my friend and our daughters to kick off summer vacation b/c it LOOKED like a fun place to visit. Before we went in we spoke to out 10 year old's about not touching anything and being respectful. The girls were never further then 1 room away from us. They were NOT being loud or rude or disrespectful in ANY way but they did come to us and say "Those ladies keep watching us wherever we go. They keep staring at us." Those ladies being the owners. When we were shopping (I had several things that I was going to purchase, even though they were outrageously priced I wanted to support a woman owned small business) we heard an "anonymous" announcement over their loudspeaker saying "Please keep your children with you at all times." Now, please keep in mind that the children were NOT misbehaving, they were going down the slide and sitting in the ball pit (AFTER asking for and receiving permission from said owners to do so) and they were looking (not TOUCHING) while their Mom's shopped. I immediately put everything I was going to purchase back as did my friend. The only thing I was going to get at that point was what I promised my children ($10 limit) so of COURSE they picked out an overpriced stuffed animal. When I paid (including the 3% credit card fee).
Later that day, I got a customer survey asking how the service was (smiley or frowny face). I was angry and put out by their "service" so I gave them a frown and said "The sales people were rude." I was not dramatic or over the top and the public at large could not even SEE this review I left. Within 2 hours I got a very long email saying "I remember you, you didn't seem unhappy when you were checking out..." and it went on from there about all of the "heroic" things they did to save my children who were (God forbid) sliding down the slide head first (INTO A FOAM PIT ONCE THEY CHECKED THAT THERE WAS NO ONE THERE)! and stopping them from going into the 18+ section which was a flimsy doorway with a PENIS for a handle (classy and subtle, no?).
When I mentioned that if they were so upset I would have preferred that they come to me or my friend directly instead of using the loudspeaker, in an email they called me "irresponsible and disrespectful". They also told me "It's not rocket science that kids can get injured sliding down head first." I guess I can remind them that it's not rocket science to treat the customers with respect and the only thing that should have been said after my initial "review" should have been something to the effect of "I am sorry you were not pleased with your visit, please give us another chance at a later date." I guess you DO need to be a rocket scientist to know that's how you should TREAT people who could potentially support your business and spread word of mouth, clearly they are NOT. Anyway, this is the first and last time I will be patronizing that store.
Now I am sure these "charming" ladies will have plenty to say in their response to this review, so take mine for what you will and just so you know, buyer beware.
Good luck to you if you would like to go, I would suggest leaving your children at home and taking out a personal loan before considering...
Read moreIt is a great place to experience nostalgia for anyone ages 40 to 80! You'll take pictures and make memories, for sure. Who knows, you might find a treasure, too! Many diversity of styles! As a plus size, conservative style mama, I can say there weren't near as many options as there were for the super skinny gals who can rock the uniqueness of previous eras 🤷♀️. You'll find a lot of items besides clothes like home decor, shoes, purses, vinyl albums, games, with some furniture and kitchens items too. I did notice there weren't many items for kids, although I remember a corner with kids apparel. Prices are more based on the unique vintage finds than a thrift store would cost. We found parking in the street right outside the door. We scanned the QR code on the parking meter and entered a credit card. Max parking time is 2 hours, and that was about perfect timing for us to peruse both floors. Yes, we rode the slide, and yes,...

I collect vintage clothing and home goods myself and go to national fleas and have been to shops all over the country. This shop is on par with NYC shops, without the same price tag.
People complaining about the prices need to lean the difference between a vintage boutique and a thrift store. Vintage sellers spends hours, often traveling long distances, to source their items. Additionally, a lot of their merchandise are items that are harder to find and are priced accordingly.
The vibes of this place are immaculate and you can tell a lot of love went into its making. Definitely recommend checking it out if you have a love of vintage or if you just wanna browse an...
