The customer service was okay in the beginning but the furniture that I ordered and payed for was completely mismatched the salesperson Mary was totally nonchalant about resolving the issue. I contacted her about resolving my mismatched bed and mattress issue. I was told that Mary would send the right furniture the next day but she never sent it. I called Mary back the next day but she got nasty with me asking me for $50 telling me that I had to pay $50. I told Mary that she was dishonest and not true to her word. She blocked my phone number and has been constantly giving me the run around and has completely blown me off. Mary gave me a receipt that had a Collingdale address on it although I purchased at the Clifton Heights location which is very shady. The store also has many different names although advertised as Home Furniture Design, the store also has falsely advertised names such as Cozy Furniture amongst others. Despite giving me mismatched furniture Mary the salesperson person tried to play victim and treated me as though I was wrong for expecting what I rightfully purchased. Mary tried to make it seem like she was my best friend in the beginning, but after I gave her my money the tables turned. The guys that delivered my furniture left the trash on the porch. Mary sent the delivery guys at a time that she knew that no one would be home she had the delivery guys sit outside knowing that I wasn't home. Mary even went as far as calling me at my nob and got smart with me because I wasn't home and she knew that I wasn't going to be home. I had to get my friend to leave her job to get my furniture. The guys that delivered my furniture weren't even going to assemble my furniture after they delivered it I had to ask them to because they were so unprofessional. Mary is a con artist and so is...
Read moreI would strongly suggest looking else where for your furniture because this retailer just scammed me out of $232 for renting a U-haul from their location.
They are trying to say that I caused damage to the rear bumper of their cargo van, but here are some very important facts.
The individual that rented the vehicle to me NEVER did a walk-through with me.
The rear end of the vehicle was pointed in a direction that did not allow us to physically see the rear bumper before leaving the lot.
I have 2 witnesses that were with me from time of pick-up to the time of drop of that can confirm that I never made contact with any other items or vehicles. (This does not matter to them or U-Haul).
The gentleman that rented the vehicle to me mysteriously mentioned that I had opted for the insurance while I signed my paperwork. I thought I declined this, but while disputing the claim, I now know that I did select this in error.
All that they are stating is that I have to take this up with U-Haul, but in all actuality, if they cared about their reputation, they could have pulled the video footage prior to filing the claim since the vehicle was dropped back off during the day time. I've rented a fair number of U-Hauls in my lifetime, and never would have thought that this location would try to take advantage of me the way that they did. This is unacceptable, and to simply move patio furniture in under 2 hours, for $232 dollars was simply not worth it, and to think that I was gonna go back to look at some of...
Read moreFrom the outside you don't know what to expect, but I've purchased a full bedroom set and a living room table at a reasonable price and good quality.
The staff is very attentive and I was impressed that they remembered my name each time I've been in. Definitely worth checking out amongst the various other furniture outlets on...
