Hello Google Family. I arrived here to get a quick bite before I went to the hair stylist. The salon is walking distance from here. This was my first time here. I always wanted to come here, but I always had a reason not to. Anyway, I made it today. After the parking fiasco, I arrived inside the restaurant. Yummy 2 is a breakfast spot. They open everyday, from 6:30 Am to 2:30 Pm. The parking is a nightmare, in the parking lot. Next time, I will park on the street. I looked at the menu that they had standing up. There were no menus to look at in your hand or to take with you. After perusing for awhile, I decided on the salmon wrap. They asked if I wanted tomatoes and lettuce and I said thats it. Pretty simple huh? Well, I waited which seemed to me like an eternity. There were other people in line picking up their orders. That to me was a good sign, that other people like this place. Finally, I received my order and away I went. I had paid while I waited and so I got that out of the way. I ate half of the wrap in the car and I ate the other half when I arrived home. It was good, I enjoyed it. I would return again. The employees there, seemed okay. One employee spent a lot of time on her phone. An okay experience. This place needs work to improve to receive a 5 star rating. Good night,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis place succeeds well in some areas and absolutely fails in others. The food is very affordable and is, for the most part, tasty. I've had better, and I've had worse. That's where the first star comes from. The second star comes from the location. It looks nice and feels nice. Then we get to staff, and here is where the ball not only gets dropped... It gets stabbed and deflated. I have NEVER been to any sort of restaurant where NO ONE on the staff smiles or acknowledges customers. My family and I were first-timers and were unaware that we were supposed to seat ourselves (there's no sign or anything stating this). We stood by the entrance for nearly five minutes until we just sat down somewhere, and NONE of the staff who walked past us numerous times said anything. The staff is either grossly untrained or grossly incompetent. I watched them interact with us and other customers with miserable looking faces and tones of voice. Our waitress brought half of our food, then another table's food, THEN the rest of our food. After that, our waitress never came to our table for the rest of our meal. We had to be assisted by a worker who wasn't even a waitress. I've heard it is better on days that aren't busy, but we will never know as we will not...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreCatch this place on a slow day, and the experience will be pretty good. The problem here is, it attracts to much traffic, and it reflects the food, and the service. They need to get in an entirely new wait staff. The current staff lacks customer service skills, or were poorly trained. The amateur server skills are off putting. This place would be best hiring people with more server experience in their resumes. This environment seems to be to much of a hand full, for people who seem like it's the first job they ever had. The food is pretty good, although it's usually inconsistent. With this place, you never know what you are going to get. This location gives its original location, yummys on 52nd street, a bad name. However, i give it 3 stars for affordability. If you are looking for, a full dine in experience, and this place is packed, just head to the dennys up the road. If you just want a quick bite, and I use that term loosely, because no matter what you order. you will have a wait if it is packed. Then you cant go wrong here. However If you are looking for, the 52nd street yummys, quality taste. Just go to 52nd st, it's not at...
