Our first to time visiting the wonderful village of Clinton. I can not believe it's taken us so long to come here. How breathtaking a place it is. The Red Mill, the spillway, the Memorial Garden, and that bridge, oh that bridge. The same type built in Glen Gardner in the same year, 1870. And this majestic lady, like her sister, is all dressed in flowers. And looks lovely and unique in white. A peaceful place to enjoy our picnic today. We met a sweet couple enjoying their 30th wedding anniversary together in this place. It was a very special day in Clinton...

This is a cast iron Pratt Pony Truss bridge built in 1870. Designed by Francis Lowthorp and constructed by WM Cowin, this bridge is one of the oldest metal truss bridges in the country and a rare example of the use of cast iron in bridge building.
