Some people who are my age remember when WinCo was Home Base. I bought my very first cordless drill and saw set at this place. So much has changed since I first shopped here in the late 90's. This was my 'go-to' place for groceries, fuel and fast food. When time permitted I could also get a haircut, turn in my recyclables & get a box of copy paper from Office Depot before heading back up the 4-lane. Ah, those were the days.. I would still be putting groceries away until late but I'd do anything for the chance to have it all back before...

Took me a long time to figure out that "Center Clovis" is that small strip center between Winco (Ashlan & Peach) and what used to be Costco. So I checked these merchants out and I am glad I did. It really is a tight little collection of local merchants which collectively exude a very positive atmosphere. I plan to return regularly after grocery shopping or upon visiting Jiffy...
