Flame It Burgers — Restaurant in Fresno

I was craving a charbroiled burger today thanks to my neighbors barbecuing nextdoor, so I started searching for a good burger joint nearby. Flame It Burger got good reviews, so I drove over and went through the drive-thru. The wait was a bit longer than at a typical drive-thru, but they make all meals to order, so that is to be expected. Also, I requested they make my burger "well done." They did a good job. No pink inside, but not burnt up either -- just right. The regular burger is a good size, and tasty. The crinkle fries remind me of Foster Freeze fries, which I used to like very much, and they give plenty in the #1 Combo. I haven't been inside, but from what I could see through the windows, it looks tidy. The service was fast and friendly. The price was right. I give it 5 stars because I can't think of anything wrong. Next time I'm going for the 1/2-pound...

RIP OFF!!!

I wanted to like this place as I've only been twice. The first time it was pretty good. I love pastrami and had the pastrami burger and it was pretty good.

However, tonight we spent over $35 for 2 people. The pastrami sandwich barely has any meat on it! If you look at the yelp postings, previously, you could actually see pastrami.

I called them up and the woman didn't really seem to care. They said they "measure out" their pastrami which is kind of pathetic.

She said there was nothing they can do about it.

Talk about customer service?

I will never come back here again.

They didn't even try or want me to send a picture. Check out the difference. You spend $13 on a pastrami sandwich that looks like a BLT.

And they charged me $1.40 more on my debit card. They charge 4% for credit or debit...

If I could rate this food lower than 1, I would. My burger tasted a little like grill cleaner and was nothing special. The crinkle fries were clearly from a frozen packet (Possibly from Winco down the street). I'm surprised the rims from my car didn't get stolen in the drive through or by employees. Did not give a clean appearance and the food reflected it. Shame. This would probably make the food at the local homeless shelter seem like a 5 star Michelin star meal. I don't know if I would even enjoy free food from this place. It's a shame to know a place like this shares a parking lot with Dutch Bros. If there was ever any vehicles in this drive through, it's because they probably meant to get in line at Dutch Bros. Please, save yourself money and don't come here. In this economy it's hard to afford...
