An excellent community park with many trees/shade, paved trails, playgrounds, disc golf course, pavilion, ampitheater, pickleball courts, basketball court, baseball fields. Lots of functions throughout the year including car shows and fairs. Community pool located basically in the park. Anybody living in the borough can easily walk or bike to it.
The only downsides are 1) bathrooms aren't always open and not open at all in the winter, 2) people sometimes smoke (in the clearly marked no-smoking park) but there are morons everywhere so you can't hold that against the actual park facilities.

I am a visitor to the area / travel full-time all over the U.S. Today I rate the park as a 1 because there are arrogant parents who feel they can skateboard/ have child ride a bike on the trail. I was told by this "person" that signs mean NOTHING. Several couples also informed him that he was interfering with people on the trail. After multiple requests to desist, they finally left. Read moreAlways go here to walk. Great, mostly shaded walking path. I really enjoy it. Sometimes the kids on bikes can be much. Not supposed to ride on the path however, doesn't seem to be another safe place for them to ride. One other thing. The outdoor workout area is a bonus except when it's blazing hot. Any plans for some sort of mesh/screen type canopy for some shielding from the sun? Just asking as I do like to use the equipment, but during the majority of the day, it's just way too hot....
