Color Me Collierville Art Studio LLC — Attraction in Collierville

I have both a toddler and an older elementary schooler and our family absolutely loves Color Me! First, this is just a fantastic environment: it’s both creatively and visually stimulating and engaging for my kids—and yet not at all overwhelming for me as parent which is a huge win! The space is large enough where is no shortage of activities and stations for my kids to engage with, but contained enough where I can comfortable sit back in the lounge space while my kids have fun and never leave my line of site (which I love with a wild and crazy toddler). I also really appreciate that my kids can get their creative wiggles out without the effort and added time on my part to set up or cleanup. There are immersive, messy experiences (with smocks haha) that I’m so glad that my kids get to experience that would be a huge cleanup commitment at home. There are also both free play stations (including blocks/hands on toys outside of painting or paper activities, story time and whole a marble run wall) and structured/ guided themed activities each week so it’s not up to me to come up with the ideas for “what should I paint?!”

As a parent I describe the overall experience kind of like the feeling of going to a restaurant for dinner—not having to worry about the cooking OR the dishes OR planning and picking out what everyone will want to eat— yet still being a part of dinner lol.

On top of that, all of art supplies and activities are included in the cost of the membership, which 100% pays for itself. That said family membership pricing is EXTREMELY accessibly (the whole year literally costs less than one month of lifetime fitness for my family, and the price of the month is less than I spend at Michael’s to set up for ONE big art activity at home…). It also includes being able to go everyday with there always being something new to engage with. (I love watching for the new weekly themes/calendar drop on social!) We recently held my 7yo daughter’s birthday party at Color Me Collierville, and she said it was the BEST birthday party she’s ever had. The kids LOVED it. I’m not kidding, I heard one kid tell her “WOW, you picked a GREAT place!” 😂

As a parent, one of the hardest parts about a birthday party is trying to keep kids patient and together while waiting for the party to start. But here, the party started each time a kid walked in the door.

As the first few guests trickled in, they were invited to play while waiting for the others to arrive. Some were drawn to painting, others to the marble run. Soon, the moment a kid walked in, the others were jumping excitedly to show them all the cool things to play with. The space is adorable and the perfect size to keep all the kids together while still allowing them to follow their own personal interests.

We let them free-play for most of the time, and that worked out really well. The owners led them in a quick group craft (fairy milk baths!), which they looooved. Each kid was able to take home their own jar, and they were so excited and proud of their creations. I’m personally not a fan of the usual party favor bags that are popular at kids’ birthday parties. So the fact that each kid was able to create something with natural ingredients then take it home for an entire experience later at bath time was just…brilliant, honestly.

The owners put a special birthday chair for opening presents in the main play area, and it was fantastic. Kids who wanted to sit and watch, sat and watched. Kids who wanted to keep playing or painting during present time…did just that while still being able to stay with the group.

I am so impressed with this place. 10000/10, we will absolutely be back to Color Me Collierville for our next birthday party! This is what a birthday party should be. A space for kids to celebrate, play, and create together and just be KIDS. Thank you for such an awesome...
