The last few times we've been to this location it has taken a minimum of 45 minutes to get our food. The last time we went (4-22-18) we set a new record... 1 hour and 15 minutes from us walking in the door we finally got our food. Even then they forgot a meatball sandwich that took another 10 minutes to make. Yes, the restaurant was somewhat busy, but maybe they should hire more kitchen staff or buy more ovens to support the number of tables they have? Our waitress did briefly mention 'sorry about the wait' but that's it. You'd have thought our appetizer took an extra 10 minutes to come out by how casual the entire staff seemed about things.
As for the pizza, I actually really enjoy it. Yes they use canned mushrooms and such, but the sum of the parts still works in its own unique way. I think of it as 'grungy thin crust pizza'... but it's good, and different from anywhere else around town.
It's only because I enjoy the pizza and can't replicate it elsewhere that I'm annoyed by how lax the staff is at the Collierville location. Read moreI've been debating and thinking since yesterday 10/20 if I should give a review. Here we are 10/21 and yes I should. Now I come down the walk way from Davita pretty regularly. Yesterday was the worse experience I have ever had. I was standing in line patiently waiting as three customers prior to me was being seen. One lady had a large call in order which had me waiting longer, so the guy helped her carry it out! I’m standing at the counter patiently waiting. Every employee sees me stand there. Another customer walks up behind me and one of the male employee walks up. He turns and get the guy pizza off top of the oven. My pizza “Williams” was right beside it. He calls the guy name and give him his total. So I say “ oh you want me to move so he can pay?” He said so you haven't checked out yet, I side no I have not. He still proceeded with the guy payment and pizza. I’m standing there in shock. When he finish he looked at me and said ma’am what's your order, “so I say no don't worry about it I don't want it anymore” and walked out!!! Read moreI really enjoy MPC, or at least I did in the past. Their buffalo chicken pizza is SO good!! My main issue is their online ordering system. I have tried ordering online with them 3-4 times because I guess I'm just a glutton for torture. Each time I order, I go to pick it up and they claim to have no record of my order, even though I have a confirmation page and everything. So then about 5 minutes later they find it somehow and then make my pizza, causing me to wait an extra amount of time (anywhere from 10-20 minutes). I know it's my own fault, maybe I should just stop using the online ordering system. But if you, as a company, are going to offer this feature, please make sure it works because it is a really convenient tool. Tonight was the last straw and I'm tired of this happening every time I order online. It would be different if it happened every once in awhile, but this happens every single time I use it.
