I have heard back from the office manager regarding this post. We discussed the issue and we were able to get a clearer view on everything.... Chris... Listened and was very nice... Understanding of my Frustration... I have no ugliness against the pet hospital... I love my dogs Vet... Fantastic man... Very caring and takes personal interest in my babies... I am truly grateful for that kind of care... Office staff is always polite and friendly... Appointments are easy to work in.. Messages are always returned... I felt strongly about the packages are always just out of reach... Chris has made it very clear that he is available anytime.... He was respectful and I appreciated him calling me and discussing the situation.... I have no intentions of leaving this caring hospital... My dogs are treated very well... Thank you Chris... I greatly appreciate our conversation.. Thank you for understanding my concerns God's blessings... Thank you again
I have two reviews for this clinic The staff are very kind and polite... No complaints.. Dr. Madison is fantastic... He's taken personal interest in my senior dog... Caring for him for well over a year...
There's the problem with this clinic The discounts are always unavailable for some stupid reason after the next... With 3 dogs.. I must keep the cost reasonable... I posted this before... My senior dog was denied the senior package because he needed another six months to qualify... Following visit... Asked what age would be considered a senior? 7 years... My Bitzs was 10 half.. I was concerned... The office manager wasn't happy with my post Because the Vet's can talk to him The clinic is devoted to the animal's care And money isn't the main... Issue So... They went ahead and drew labs
There's the problem... Big problem My senior dog has been in & out of the clinic many times... Also well as my two younger dogs... I have spent easily $3,000....I have never asked for assistance with my dogs care This was Bitzs 4-5th visit... Bo Wiggles had a suspected bladder infection... Next month all shots and heart worm is due.... I called the office manager... Asking for some assistance for their care I am on chemo and medical for myself is overwhelming... I called only because he told me that the animals come first.... I wasn't expecting a totally free visit... His response was... Let me know when you come in... "I'll speak to the doctor and tell him to keep the costs down... Nothing will expensive will Done... REALLY REALLY... that's a normal practice... They tell you what something cost... Then I make the decision to do the procedures.. I asked him about what he said last time... Animals come first... Money second.... But Unwilling to give my senior dog the best care... He was showing signs of neurological problems... His back right leg wasn't holding him up... He's got extremely bad arthritis in his spine... He needed x-rays... The senior package offers 2-4 x-rays... Complete blood work... And shots were needed.. I understand that the shots should be held while he's under the weather But the blood work & x-rays would be $320....walked out with $400 The Vet's are great... Staff wonderful They don't honor their packages.. Also price matching. .. Wanted to use that... But it's only for heartworm meds... That's not what their site says. . Just be aware of this situation... Especially if you are watching your budget... I would do anything for my dogs... They are my world and therapy... I am so disappointed... Heartbroken.. I took Bitzs in and paid for everything.. I didn't want a hand out... Just so adjustments... Like he said a while back... It's just wrong.... In...
Read moreWhen I first went to this vet, I was really impressed with the service. I had pet insurance which they accepted and processed. We had a fantastic vet, Dr. G. Unfortunately, she is no longer there. After she moved, it was like, the service tanked. I was patient and understanding throughout the renovations. Twice after our vet left, did I go and stop because 4x I had requested them to send my insurance the bill and they failed to do it, so we ended up on the hook for the full payment. The first visit after our vet left, I asked the ladies at the desk to check if they had the claim forms which our previous vet had. They said they had it and would send it. Then I called to confirm it, they said they had it and would send it. Didn't send. Fast forward to the second visit. Right before I left there were 5 people at the front desk. I asked if they could check our files that they have our vet claim form. I watched the girl look for it and pull the form out. She had it. I asked them, can you please send the claim cause the last claim wasn't sent. They all assured me that they would send it. The claim was never sent. 😡 I am a type of person that want to believe that if you say you will do something, I can trust in your word. There were five ladies NOT doing anything at the moment, just hanging out playing with a puppy. I was really disappointed 😞 and I never went back. Vet bills are almost as expensive as hospital bills, so sending in those claim forms are really important to your customers. If your business doesn't understand that, then you don't care about the people you serve. I loved our previous vet because she always took care of us. ❤️ Sad to have heard she left. We would have recommended more people to this location, but after being dismissed multiple times with constant reminders, 😕 it's enough for me to search for...
Read moreThis was a wonderful experience! I needed lab work on my 9 year old dog before he could enter a Board and Train program. I had failed to get it done (my misunderstanding) and realized it on Saturday before he was scheduled to begin on the following Monday. I found The Pet Hospitals in my neighborhood by doing an online search.
They are open 7 days per week. I was able to set up a new account online, and then SCHEDULE an appointment for 11:00 the next morning, confirmed by e-mail!! I had initially planned on lab-only, with plans to return for complete exam later. The veterinarian took the time to examine him, and found that he had pretty severe arthritis (he had an intermittent limp.) I did not realize how bad it was, but now I understand how some of his behaviors were due to pain, not temperament. We started him on some pain medication and joint supplements. I am so grateful that Dr. Landis was so thorough and that I will now be able to give him some pain relief.
The Pet Hospitals followed up the next morning by e-mail. I had a question, and got a prompt reply. I don't know what this same service would have cost elsewhere, and think it may have been a little pricey BUT the convenience of scheduling a visit online, on a Sunday was incredible and worth every penny! The staff was very friendly, welcoming and kind to my dog. The vet, Dr. Landis was thorough, kind, and she explained the meds, safety issues and goals for treatment.
I could not be happier with my good fortune to find this great practice!!!
Addendum: I am a senior on Social Security, so my opinion about what is pricey and what is not perhaps reflects my...
