Harlan Wolfe Park — Attraction in Colorado Springs

Nice little four acre open space along Cheyenne creek. But I sure would like to know why this park seems to have been abandoned by the city, the community, and the historical preservation association. I am new to town and found this spot by accident. I could tell it used to have more going on so I looked it up on internet when I got home. Turns out as recently as three years ago this was the sight of a thriving community garden, interpretive programs, and a restoration project of the historic buildings. Now it is just a four acre abandoned plot and abandoned buildings. It's a nice quit spot to enjoy the creek but it is a shame it isn't still a thriving...

Every entrance is closed. No place to park much less a safe place to turn around. The road is under construction but all signs and entrances are posted private property. So either the neighbors have taken over the park or it's no longer a...
