Only thing is really a bummer about this place is they have all this land in yet they choke the dog park down into such a small area. There are benefits to using some of that land towards the dog part such as lowers crime rate by getting people out an active in a prosocial manor, it keeps some of the trash picked up it's just floating around out in the fields because when you're walking around picking up after your dog I don't know about you, I pick up trash when I see it laying right in front of me, and taking your dog out to the park promotes a longer, healthier life enabling one to contribute more to society.

EDITED ! ! My dog has gone over the fence in both large and small areas. She just simply climbed right on up and over. The park is large, so if you have a dog that comes repeatedly when called, then suddenly decides to ignore you and investigate a squirrel, the fence is low with weak points on the north locked gate and the south east corners.

People just gather and talk and do not watch nor clean up after their dogs. This has resulted in the back of the dog park being covered in poop and dog fights. Also, aggressive dog owners consistently and knowingly continue to bring their aggressive dogs to the park, even after multiple incidences starting dog fights, to the point that other dog owners have told them to take their dogs home and not bring them back. There is no way for dog owners to report or ban these people. And the park itself has no shade or grass...just 2 trees on their side and 2 benches. I stopped going to this dog park, even though it is relatively close to me, because of these reasons. If there was cameras or a humane society volunteer monitor or a way to at least record and send in to the Humane Society these aggressive dog owners to ban them, I would try again to take my dogs to that park to run around and play with them. It is sad this dog park went down hill from the time it opened all due to...

Awesome park, lots of room. But some people who bring their dogs havent trained their dogs to listen or behave properly around other dogs. I brought my Akita Shepard whom is a little on the older side there the other day, just like any other day and there was a man there with his German Shepard who insisted on wrestling with my boy. The owner did very little to control his dog as he wrestled my boy to the ground, mind you my dog was being very clear he didnt want to be bothered, showing teeth and growling when the other shepard attempted to jump on mine. My dog whom is well trained restrained from sinking his teeth into the other dogs neck but now has a fractured Hip. To the gentleman whom allowed this behavior still did nothing as his dog harassed other dogs after we moved our boy to the small pen to enjoy his walk in the grass. To you sir, if i see you again you'll be...

I personally would not recommend this dog park. I took my dog there for the first time today and I won't be back. I thought it would be good for my dog because he loves being around other dogs and I thought it would be fine because there was a sign that said if your dog has any sign of aggression not the bring them or it may have said leave them unattended. I'm not sure exactly but there were many dogs with aggression. Just walking into the park my dog was snarled at and a dog blocked the entrance so he couldn't get in. On top of that a dog followed him with out my dog bothering him and came up and snapped at my dog. There were a lot of aggressive dogs. There were some nice ones as well but a lot of them were aggressive. The park was mostly...
