I think this is a great weekday playground. There's a two-story rope gym, two distinct play structures with integrated slides, a couple spinning effects that kids can hang on or hold onto, one regular swing and one handicap swing, a pit for playing ball in, a zipline, a paved trail with a sitting area underneath a pergola, public restrooms, public water fountain, a small dog park adjacent to the playground, very nice landscaping and decent shade mostly throughout. There are also a few picnic benches next to the restrooms and a little free library. The ground underneath the playscapes is wood chips, but there are a lot of stone effects built into the play area. All in all, the perfect spot to spend a couple hours on a Saturday.. or anytime you...
Read moreGreat park! It was built in 2016 so the equipment is new and in great shape. It has a zip line that is fun for all ages (OK, maybe 2&up). There are lots of rocks to climb and it is well shaded by trees in the summer. There's a neat little amphitheater with a seat which looks like it is set up for storytelling, but I have not ever been there for story time. This park is "pack in pack out", so there are no trash cans. Bring your...
