First National Bank Museum — Attraction in Columbia

This was one of the best museum tours I have ever been too. I wish I could remember her name, I believe it was Nora was our tour guide and she was beyond amazing. She was very knowledgeable and just all around great to be around. She has that personality where you could just talk and feel like you knew her for years. We had a group of 16 ask for a last minute tour of the bank on a holiday and Nora was pleasantly able to accommodate us. The tour was very affordable. I have lived in Lancaster and York county my whole life and didn’t know some of the lovely history we learned.

10/10 would recommend and will definitely be back...

Very interesting. The museum is a private home as well as a formal bank. You get a tour of the lower level of the house and then the bank. The tour guide's family owned the building and she and her husband continue to own the property. It's interesting to see how banks...
