Wow what a disaster you have to pre purchase tickets for a specific time slot but when i showed up 20 minutes EARLY there was no parking available in the tiny lot and the line was out the door. Mind you out the door with everyone having already bought tickets what were we waiting for has turkey hill never heard of email??? Why am i waiting almost 20 minutes in the middle of the gift shop ducking diving weaving and dipping completely unsupervised 3 year olds throwing souvenir cows and EVERYONE coming in leaving or going to one activity or the next. Highly dont recommend paying considering theres no one checking tickets or stopping anyone from going anywhere when they shouldn't be there. The results of that is AN UNIMAGINABLE DISASTER like an overcrowded preschool of sugared up 2 year olds like 4th grade lunchroom when the lunch lady called in sick and the school ordered pizza for lunch. ZERO and i mean zero supervison why is there no one telling you were to go imagine a corn maze then imagine ruining said corn maze by putting a grid through it then imagine trying to figure out were to go in said corn maze over graph paper. When you finally walk halfway through and find the "movie theater" that tells you what you can use your recipt for, you realize how truly dysfunctional this establishment is. First they book like 60 people per 15 minutes and they tell everyone to go watch the presentation that has 10 seats... hello anyone home?!?!?! Then after you get a seat you lose it when you realize you have to get up walk across the room to push the start button! Its difficult to hear anything because of aforementioned insanity going on around you. When you finally reach the create your own flavor station it tells you to use the code on the receipt (which cant be emailed prior to the visit) to see your flavor. SO WHY DID I WATCH THE PRESENTATION?????? Theres unlimited tea and ice cream samples if you can get around the barrage of unsupervised kids throwing cups around theres literally more garbage cans then staff on the experience floor. I counted 4 to 3. I grumpy old dude refilling the tea samples and two overworked old ladies scooping ice cream. My wife and i took 1 sample each walked around the cavalcade of children and said this is crazy lets go. We went back to get different samples then walked right out the back door straight into the back parking lot and our car that we parked there after circling for a few minutes and wondering were the rest of the parking spots were. The other 10 were in the back.
Overall incredibly disappointing the only thing i learned about turkey hill is that no one knows when the tea started but thats not to worry they wont either realize when it closes either because theres no...

The history of Turkey Hill Farm begins in Lancaster County Pennsylvania with the Frey family farm. They sold extra milk to their neighbors during the Great Depression in 1930’s . ( check website for history)
Over the years their family expanded their property & operations. Several generations later, Turkey Hill produces over 50 flavors, millions of gallons of tasty frozen dairy desserts.
Note: Many companies who produce ice cream limit costs . . . FDA regulations state ice cream must have at least 10% butter fat.
Turkey Hill Premium Ice Cream has 10% butter fat, the other products below 10% butter fat are called frozen dairy desserts!
*Look at Turkey Hill labels before you buy!

Read moreI remember this being an awesome place, with the history, fun inter-actives and the never ending ice cream tasting when I came with my kids about 8 or 9 years ago. I have more kids now so we tried it again. Everything is exactly the same as it was before, which is kind of outdated now. The history of turkey hill is really interesting, but not much fun for kids since it’s just a ton of words on a wall. There are a couple of fake cows to milk, which my kids were looking forward to, but they were broken. You go through stations where you get to “design” your own ice cream flavor, then package it and make a commercial. But it’s all just pretend. All my kids asked before we left when they were getting the ice cream they made. And then I realized that in a world of sweet frog and other frozen yogurt places, where you really do create your own flavors (for half the price of admission), they were naturally expecting to taste what they made. I was also disappointed in the free sample area. It was hard to find and the flavors were just not that great. It was almost like they didn’t want you to find the samples, and then if you did they didn’t want you to really eat them so they gave the boring flavors. I would much rather pay a little bit more and have my kids actually get to try the flavor they make, and either get rid of the free samples or give something more exciting-like flavors that are in the works-or let guests vote on new flavors coming out. I was pleasantly surprised that there were quite a few things in the gift shop that were $5-$10. This was nice to see. We will probably not ever go back here unless it’s updated. But if you’re visit f for the first time it’s good to go and see a glimpse into such a huge part of...
