I recently had my wedding here and it was perfect!! The gardens are beautiful and well kept. The pavilion is nice, there are outlets, trash and recycling, and 4 large picnic tables. The grill is rusted out on the bottom. The bathrooms are sub par.

Gorgeous trail and memorial with outdoor exercise equipment that is accessible to the public. It does have a lot of foot and bike traffic, even in the cooler months.

This is a nice little natural area and the memorial is pretty. Unfortunately, the MLK quotes etched into the pillars are illegible due to weatherization, I guess.

An interesting memorial that is in a nested location by the MKT trail entrance. Clean and [unfortunately] not well maintained as far as shrubbery goes😞. I expected a bit more maintenance and this was a bit of a let down. I enjoyed reading the quotes and this is a nice place to meet up, host a small event, or spend time with family since there is a picnic area with tables, and grill - roofed as well. Never seen any historical or small events hosted at tje site to bring people closer to the memory of MLK Jr. but I'd say it's...

Battle did an awesome job in planning the unique trees and plants to include here, along with the inspirational design to honor MLK Jr. I do wish Columbia Parks & Recreation did more for the upkeep on it, but still a definite 5 stars and a must see. Its soo majical that I even hope one day one of us can even volunteer for keeping this memorial beautiful, once our problems...
