We visited this pottery painting shop as a relaxing activity with two adults and two kids (ages 15 and 10). The process was simple: when you walk in, you choose a piece from the wall display, grab a table, and get started painting. The paint colors are easy to view on the sample table, and you pick up the bottles you want from the side. The attendant gave us quick instructions about how many coats to apply, but otherwise there wasn’t much guidance. It would have been helpful to have smocks or aprons available since this is paint, and no one wants to risk getting it on their clothes. There also weren’t any paper towels available, which made it tricky when we had paint on our hands. There’s a sign that says “no trash—what you bring in, you take out,” which I understand from a green perspective, but some basic cleanup supplies seem necessary for this type of activity. Overall, it was a fun and creative experience, but it would really benefit from offering smocks and paper towels to make it more...
Read moreIt’s an excellent concept, so very innovative. The staff is very sweet and helpful. They helped us with our take home kit that included the paints we wanted in little pods. They have pretty pottery items and a wide collection of paints. However, I really hope there is more transparency on the prices. It’s a little bit pricey. They don’t allow pets (exception: service animals)! So if you’re looking for an activity where you could also have your pet with you, this isn’t the place! It would also help if they had fixed policies - we found it to be dwindling with every staff member. We were happy with the item and paints we picked and the service, but were unhappy about it not being...
Read moreRainy day fun. Can be pricey if you are taking a group...expect to spend $25+ per painter. The employee working was pleasant but offered very little instruction or follow up customer service. If everyone in your group is a first time painter I would recommend doing a little research before you start your projects. All in all, we had fun and are pleased with...
