WARNING! THEY JUST PUT THE WRONG PRICE/TIPS WITHOUT ASKING YOU!!! I ordered double Americano which should cost around $3.5 in drive-thru, but I realized the worker (she looks like have some minor down syndrome) put the tip without saying anything to me from my credit card bill !!!!! It is a TOTAL FRAUD to take away money from you without any agreement. The manager should RETRAIN THEM at least, otherwise how can customers trust this business?
Ok, so I was also debating whether I should mention it or not. However, the only reason I mentioned is I have to let you know as much details/description as I know for you to re-train them. Unfortunately, that is the only thing I could remember/ recognize the worker. If they were like a white guy with pierce on his nose or if I have known her name, I would write that down fyi. That is just only āobjectiveā information I can provide to you. It is not even more than that. If it was inappropriate, I feel sorry about it.
However, the thing you have never done is you did not even apologize what happened on your response, which is completely awful and offensive. I totally agree that mistake could happen. However, read others reviews about the issues on tips in the drive-thru. If something happens repetively, it is not just mistake anymore, but the system error you should take care of. Unfortunately, you did not even show your willingness to fix and did not know how to apologize to customers, which is very unprofessional. Also, your attitudes of shutting customersā freedom down is super condescending and such a discrimination, especially when the original fault happened from the business side.
Lastly, how could you jump to the conclusion that I have never tried to solve the issue in other ways? I have revisted because I just wanted to let them know this unpleasant thing happened. I did not care about the amount of money too much, but they did not even try to solve the issue. See how the customer services suck. I usually do not leave comments, but this time l did just for giving informations to other potential customers and you, the irresponsible owner....

HOWEVER the staff is a whole other deal,I have literally been coming 6 days a week for the past year and half and mostly it is just slow, very slow service,but here lately the incompetence is at a all time high! This was the third time in two weeks I get to the window and they do not know what I have ordered,I told her twice ,she was more interested in the conversation happening with other staff,then she proceeded to hand me a iced coffee,not what I ordered then when corrected smirked and handed me my COLD half froth coffee!!!!!!! May I add there was also a instance where they left me at the window for 15 minutes and forgot I was there? Whose the owner? Not manager,owner!! ?? As a regular customer here, I've also seen the Lakota staff handle themselves with grace and professionalism on a daily basis and in tough situations. They are also so kind and contribute to the positive "vibe" that can be felt in the building every single day.
Today, I witnessed a customer become heated at the staff for something outside of their control. The customer was rude and short with them before she exited the building the first time. Then, she returned to "apologize" for being rude just to become rude again.
The staff handled the situation with calmness and professionalism that I know would have been unmatched anywhere else. Although the customer escalated herself, they were sure that she was treated...
