I hate leaving a negative review for a newer restaurant, but this spot has some room for improvement. My friend and I went for dinner at 6. When we were only one of two tables, it was still about a half hour wait for our food. We both ordered Pad See Ew. I had crab rangoons, and she had dumplings. People who ordered after us (and who ordered the same things) got their orders before us. The robot that delivers food is a cool experience, but there are still some issues with it. Multiple orders were going to the wrong tables.
The food itself wasn't very flavorful, and the price and portion didn't seem to match. The veggies were very undercooked. My crab rangoon were dripping oil.
I also didn't like that they had a dog tied up outside and a small child running around. I really didn't like when the little girl went from playing with the dog outside to going back to the kitchen, swinging around the toys they were playing with. I completely understand childcare can be hard to come by, but the dog in addition was a bit much, especially when he jumped up on the window barking. It's also hot outside, which made me feel bad for him.
I'd be interested to see how this restaurant hopefully improves...
Read moreMy sister and I ordered the chicken curry, pineapple fried rice, and Ocha wings. The wings were deliciously crispy. I tried the honey-soy glaze. While it had a great texture, the flavor was very sweet—too sweet for my taste. If you order the wings, I recommend getting them spicy to add some balance or dipping them in ranch to offset the sweetness, which made them more enjoyable for me. Side note: the wings taste great as leftovers!
The green curry chicken was flavorful, though the potatoes were undercooked and could have benefitted from simmering longer in the broth.
The crab Rangoons were a delightful surprise! I hadn’t seen them served in the triangle style before, but they were absolutely delicious.
We opted for take-out, but when I went to pick up the order, the cozy, clean, and beautifully designed restaurant made a great impression. There was even a robot server delivering food to the tables. My order was ready and well-packaged for pick-up, making the experience smooth...
Read moreWow, worst pad kee mao (drunken noodles) I’ve ever had. I’ve never not eaten food I actually purchased but had to throw this in the bin. Can’t even describe what it tasted like, but it wasn’t edible. Looked like they put plain boiled chicken on top. Also got their massaman curry and that was watery but at least edible. It takes a lot for me to leave a bad review, but I’m not sure how this place is still open? Maybe they have a select item they’re decent at but not these two staples in Thai cuisine. Also, service needs work. I called in my order, walked in towards the carry out area 30 minutes later and worker screamed “not ready yet!” Didn’t ask for my info. After almost an hour since my order, I asked for an update and she screamed the same thing. I said it had been an hour since I placed the order, then she realized my order was ready and at the cash registry. No acknowledgment or apologies. You can’t have dismissive service and terrible food. There are better Thai...
