Afghan Food Mart & Bakery - Bazyani Market and Bakery — Attraction in Columbus

This grocery store is a true gem in Bethel Road. Their homemade pastries and sweet treats like Zoolbia are delicious, but the real standout is their daily fresh Taftoon bread—a flatbread that’s the best I’ve ever had outside of Iran. I often buy it to serve with Persian meals, and it’s also perfect for a traditional breakfast with bread, feta cheese, and mixed herbs like mint, parsley, cilantro and radish. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the owner is a genuinely nice and polite man who always greets customers with a smile and is eager to help. The time we visited the store it was a little busy but we were able to look around. The area seemed small but they had tons of items to choose from.
