05-10-25 I brought a good friend of mine to 1532 social restaurant and bar around 5 or 6PM. We walked in spoke with a gentleman that ends up being the general manager. I asked him if there were seating outside and if we could sit outside, he replies, yes. We sat outside for 10 to 15 minutes decided to come back in the building. I asked the bartender if it would be easier and more efficient for us to order our food and sit inside she replies yes “I didn’t know you were outside.” After getting to the bottom of this confusion, we were made aware that the general manager was the individual that said it’s fine to sit outside and then completely ignores that we’re outside. Neighborhood bar with lots of tvs and a really good sized bar. I got wings with the sauce on the side to try spicy garlic and Mango Habanero. The Mango Habanero was more mango and sweet than hot which was kinda disappointing and the spicy garlic had a decent flavor but lacked the spicy part as well. I got the Veggies & Dip Platter as well to share. I got double hummus and tzatziki which was tasty, I wasn't a fan of the hummus as it was very thick and the flavor wasn't really tasty. The wings were cooked well and they came out unbreaded which I prefer. A friend got the Buffalo sauce and he said it was only okay. Disappointing entry experience. I came to cheer on a friend in a karaoke competition, and there was an unexpected $10 cover fee. My other friend who also came to watch didn’t get charged the cover. Happy to cheer on a friend, but with unexpected and inconsistent charges I’d stay away from this place.

Update: I spoke with the manager. He did not care about the inconsistency and said I should have been charged the cover and wouldn’t do anything about it. Oh well, lots of nearby places with better customer service...
