Apna Bazaar — Attraction in Columbus

Apna Bazar Groceries store had most of the expired products specially for snacks and masala, for some they even hide the expiry date. When I went to complain the owner reaction was simple like go and get another one but this issue is not as simple as he think. Meat doesn't even have the expiry date. Once other Indian store closed in town these people changed all the grocery prices. Attitude changed towards customers once other store closed. Lot of people complained about the expired products by seems like they never care. for few products the expiry date is next month and when i asked they said like use with in the month what's big deal in it. Prices for fresh produce not displayed. Bought 5 mangoes on Thursday 05/13/21 and was charged for 6 when I looked at receipt. Called few hours after that and was told I had to talk to "boss" who was coming in Saturday 05/15/31. Called then and was given run round. No resolution. Hard to believe no employee has authority to handle this. Will visit in person and try again. Feel cheated but I was so wrong. Went in person on 05/39/21 and spoke to boss who explained what was on the receipt and the language barriers that made the employee refer me to him. I shop like every day in some store. However, this store don't deserve even one star. I wish, I can give zero stars. In my opinion, not a honest management/owner. Owner/clerk wants you to spend 50$ minimum, if customer chose to use credit/debit card. He have an audacity to ask you to spend more to reach his target amount 50$. No proper price tagging of products. Some products are on verge of expiry or expired on the shelves.
