Meli Market — Local services in Columbus

Meli Market is hands down in my top three favorite stores EVER. And the only refillery I've wanted to keep coming back to. Ellen has been constantly knocking it out of the park since DAY ONE from sourcing quality products, providing a great shopping experience, and engaging with the public with events and social media.

My top favorite products to use are: Little Seed Farm deodrant cream (life changing, go get a jar NOW) Minori cream blush (paper packaging, high pigment but buildable color) Dip conditoner (my hair is finally soft and the bar lasts a long time) Green Llama all purpose cleaner tablets (love this concept of a product! Also get a glass spray bottle) Cosh lip balm (paper packaging, great formula, who doesn't want a huge stick of lip balm?!?!?) Little Seed Farm lip tint (literally your lips but better, and beautiful as a light blush) Lady May Tallow beard butter (husband actually loves using it and it smells delicious)

And yet there's so many more high quality products to source from this store. Next on my list are the hand soaps (there's seasonal ones too!), DIP perfume, laundry soap, cleaning brushes, candles... the list goes on!

An absolute gem in Columbus, IN! This eco-friendly store boasts a delightful range of products. From detergents like dish soap, floor cleaner, to glass cleaner, you can purchase by the ounce. Just bring your own container and fill up! Forgot your container or didn’t know about this feature? No worries — they generously provide recycled bottles sourced from local restaurants at no charge.

They carry innovative items like compostable cling wrap, reusable lids for fridge leftovers (both dishwasher and microwave safe), and chic bamboo travel silverware sets. It’s a haven of sustainable products, making it quite a challenge to walk out without a purchase.

But what truly sets this store apart is the warmth and expertise of the cashier, who I learned is also the store’s owner. She’s genuinely one of the kindest people I’ve ever met and will guide you to the perfect products while engaging in a heartwarming conversation.

Meli Market is truly one-of-a-kind! I have searched for a store that sells eco-friendly products as well as offer the chance to refill soaps n' such to cut down on plastic waste with no luck UNTIL I found Meli Market! If you have been searching for such a place, look no further! This store has it all, it is welcoming and bursts with shop local, hometown energy. The staff are so knowledgeable, kind, and helpful - always open to answer all of my questions and offer recommendations. The owners, Ellen and Taylor, are THE BEST, too and have created such a treasured gem to Columbus! Some of my favorite products and must haves are the dish soap block and scrubber, the laundry soap, the oxy boost powder, the invigorating hand soap, and the shampoo and conditioner bars. I never thought i would EVER use a soap bar for dishes or my hair, but here i am. I tried it and never going back! Love this...
