I must have visited this place for more than 100 times in last 2+ years to write this review. ( Some initial visits on my own, rest all just coz I had no option ) On a really honest note, this is not really a good place to satisfy your craving for Indian food. Preparation of the food is not authentic and way far from being called Authentic Indian. Sometimes the Lamb or Chicken would smell bad, giving you a sense that the meat used is not fresh. This has been a routine now. The service is another big problem here. You ask for Naan / Dosa and it may not be on your table even after waiting for 30+ mins and repeated reminders . There have been times when we finished our Lunch and didn't get any service till end. Other tables not in need would be served, but you would be forgotten. The taste would never be the same. You order a dish one time, and it would come in different flavor next time. Lunch Menu is almost same every day. I have hardly seen the Menu changing in last more than 02 years. Boiling chicken pieces and mixing it with tomato gravy is not "Butter Chicken", unfortunately you will always find the boiled chicken pieces getting added to the gravy Owner of the Restaurant is not really open to feedback. If you try to provide negative feedback on uncooked Tandoori chicken or awful smelling Lamb curry, you may sometimes get a rude response like "Nobody is complaining, only you seems to have a problem"
So overall, this restaurant is not really worth a visit anymore unless we are running out of options or someone invites for team lunch here. I would prefer driving till Greenwood or Indy to get a better food...

Haven't been in a while as moved out of State but thought we'd go whilst back in the area.
We seated ourselves, in fact another diner told us to seat ourselves as they don't.
We waited, and waited......after 15 mins we went over and asked for menus. The gentleman then came over and apologized. We ordered drinks, and waited, after 10 mins I went up and asked if we could have our drinks. 25/30 for just drinks!
He came over, took our order and finally we were sorted. Food was delicious as always however I did notice the lack of meat and more peppers to bulk it out ( that's a shame). Prices hadn't changed but I'd gladly pay a little more to cover the rise in food costs if it means getting a better portion of meat. Flavor was delicious! Naan tasted good but unfortunately wasn't fluffy more crispy.
This is definitely a takeout place. This was obvious with the amount of people coming in for take out. It's left the 'restaurant' a little flat and lacking any atmosphere.
After living in Columbus for 10 years Apna was always a go to. Food is still good but service is pretty bad. One server who was an older gentleman doing everything was just too much, they definitely...

But appearances are deceiving, because this was the best Indian restaurant I've ever been to.
The menu includes options from North Indian, South Indian, and Indo-Chinese regions. They are all clearly labelled and well-described. The alcohol selection, though small, is very nicely priced.
I ordered the kadai paneer. It was excellent, and the portion was huge. I had leftovers for probably another meal or two. My family also loved their food. We tried the mulligatawny soup, and it was surprising in both its flavor profile and texture. I loved it.
The wait staff seemed to rotate, as we ended up having three or four different people taking care of us throughout our meal. However, they always were on point and never mixed anything up.
As time went on, the restaurant filled to capacity, and almost everyone there was Indian.
Wonderful restaurant. Would definitely be a regular there if I lived...
