Four Seasons Cottages and Cabins is the place to stay in Lake Lure! Located adjacent to the Flowering Bridge (an absolute must see), Four Seasons offers beautifully appointed cottages and cabins as well as the best, most personal service you could ever want. Amy and Tony are delightful and were quick to make themselves available for anything we needed. Our trip was a birthday surprise. I called ahead to arrange for flowers to be waiting in our cabin. Amy went the extra mile to be sure that happened and also left some of the most mouth watering homemade cookies you've ever tasted to welcome us for our visit. We stayed in the Autumn Splendor cabin. While it was perfect for the two of us, it could easily have accommodated a couple more people. We had ample space and didn't even use one of the bedrooms. The interior of the cabin was gorgeous and beautifully decorated. We had several meals on the large, screened deck and enjoyed the porch swing. We enjoyed several area attractions during our visit, all of which were easily accessible from Four Seasons' central location. We are already anticipating our next opportunity to visit the Lake Lure / Chimney Rock area and I guarantee where we'll be staying...Four Seasons...
Read moreFirst time staying at this property. We stayed in Blue Skies Cabin. It's the cabin at the very end on top of the hill going in but closest to the main road below and overlooking the Flowering Bridge. The cabin is well-furnished with amenities to make one's stay pleasant and gives you that feeling like you never left home. Walking distance to Lake Lure park and Marina and a hop away to Chimney Rock. Amy the owner is so kind and accommodating and was pretty helpful at giving us "inside info" to some places away from the touristy spots but equally enjoyable!
We also appreciate her sweet gesture of recognizing and adding special touches to the reason why we were staying there that week. Plus she welcomed us with a sweet treat! It was yummy!!!
The only thing about the cabin is that it's a bit secluded because it's surrounded by trees and you can't really see the full view of the mountains around it. But if you walk in between the two cabins before it, you'll see an exhilarating view. If this is not a huge preference, you'll enjoy the cabin just as well as we did. I personally loved the covered patio with the swing. And enjoyed most of our meals in there too! Can't wait to go back and enjoy the other cabin in...
Read moreMy family (myself, husband and 2.5 year old son) stayed in the Autumn Splendor cabin at Four Seasons recently for 3 nights. It was perfect! The cabin itself was clean, cozy, and inviting. I loved the extra touches the owner put in with the fall decor and the homemade cookies she left for us. The huge screened in porch was my favorite part about the cabin. It was so nice to be able to enjoy some meals out there! The location couldn't have been better for us being so close to Chimney Rock and all the other local attractions we planned to visit. The playground at Morse Park (.5 mile from the cabin) is a great place to let little ones burn some energy before and after a long drive. We had a wonderful little vacation here and would definitely stay at Four Seasons again...
