McKinley Park — Attraction in Columbus

First a little piece of history this park was the location of multiple homes right after the WWII veterans returned. The housing was 2 story military looking apartments most connected alll wood. Years later the housing was torn down and the city made a small park. The park is not one of the best maintained but is greatly needed to give the young people /kids some place to have sports activities. Cute and quaint little playground and big open field for little league sports. There is a bit of garbage laying around the perimeter of the parking lot, but nothing too crazy. Decent size basketball courts. The only con is a lot of men drive in and frequent the porta potty located there. Not a crime, but something to be wary of if you're alone.
