I strongly dislike this location on West Broad Street even after having given them multiple chances. I used to doordash and frequently had to come to this location to pick up orders this was the rudest staff that I've ever encountered with doordash so today I went to pick up food for some kids who's performing at a festival down the street I was in the Drive-Thru 1 minute before they open because I wasn't sure of the time that they actually opened when their customer service representative got on the horn she was utterly and unexpectedly rude especially for me to be the first customer of the day I was unaware that they did not open up until 10:30 but she felt like it was professional to slide a smart remark in their thinking that I did not hear her because I asked her to repeat what she said the location is always clean on the inside the orders always take much longer than necessary and every single time that I have gone in this Popeyes over the course of the past 3 years I have experience rude employees and on a couple of occasions and even more rude manager who supposed to de-escalate and rectify the situation I am saying all of that to set if you know you have a bad attitude poor customer service skills and don't like to deal with people do not go and get a job that requires you to deal with people I am so tired of going to establishment and spending my hard-earned money on piss poor service and mediocre quality food it is such a shame that business owners do not hire the type of people that they would want to accurately represent...
Read moreI love Popeyes chicken but this location has the be the worst I have ever experienced. Nevaeh was great. She was the cashier. She took my order and even offered other items on the menu to upsale my order. Everything else meaning my wait time, quality of food, and even speaking with district manager was HORRIBLE. It was Friday, March 6, 2020. I walked in at 5:30 p.m. My order was taken at 5:35 p.m. I ordered the 10 piece mixed special. Mild. Which consisted of 10 pieces of chicken, 2 large sides, & 5 biscuits. I didn't get my order until 6:05 p.m. When I first inquired about my order, I was told it would be 8 minutes because they had to drop more chicken. Then when I checked after 15 minutes they were waiting on my sides. Which were green beans and mashed potatoes. There were 2 managers visible working, and about 6 regular employees. The district manager happended to be there working too. I asked to speak to her. She came up and I voiced my frustration of having to wait 30 minutes for a simple order. She did not apologize, take ownership of the situation or anything. She said, " I can offer you a free dessert." I looked at her and said, " What? A free dessert?" At this point I'm upset AND offended. I guess she thought "dessert" was going to make me ok. If that is the thought process of upper management, I'm not surprised that the staff doesn't see a problem with making people wait that long for food. The drive-thru line was wrapped around the building. If you have a craving for Popeyes chicken, this location would not be the one to stop at. By the time you get your food your craving will be gone. Read moreI would give this Popeyes zero stars if I could based on my recent experience. At 1 in the afternoon they were out of spicy chicken breasts. I wasn't offered to wait until a new batch was done. My choices were: get a mild breast or get one additional wing.
In my opinion 1 wing does not equal a breast. When we got to the window I inquired about this and the Manager, scrolling on her phone says "I already explained that to them." Not once did she address me directly even though she was only 8 feet away. She talked to her staff who seemed at a loss whether to repeat what I could obviously hear or let her shouting that she'd already explained it stand. Now, while they're doing all this they're preparing my order.
I didn't demand a 4th chicken wing. But it's 1 p.m. why are you out of things at peak lunchtime? And why aren't you offering to get it cooked and give me the option of waiting?
I'm handed my bag. I give this to my daughter, who is the passenger and we complete the transaction only to get home and they have forgotten the very first thing I ordered, which was a sandwich. Maybe spending all that time arguing back and forth could have been put into making sure the order was correct. Or maybe, they left it off on purpose. Either way, the service was bad. The manager was rude. And what food we were given was mediocre.
