I'm sharing my experiencing with the W. Broad st location First of all I want to say I go through the drive through 1-2 times a week. But yesterday when I went through the drive thru , I ordered something different from the rest of my family . I ordered for myself a ribeye/ roast beef slider it was made with white American cheese Mayo and lettuce, When I ate the little slider , I even gave a little piece to my grand son . Within 30 minutes after eating that sandwich I started getting indigestion, I started belching and my stomach started hurting , All night long I had diarrhea , my stomach hurts so bad. I feel like I'm about to vomit and I have a headache like I've never had before in my life. . Also my little grandson has been crying all night because of his stomach hurting and he has been diarrhea 5 times . I went over to the urgent care to confirm what I suspected and its food poisoning. When getting home from urgent care I called to talk with the manager and he said that could not be possible because ALL FOOD IS FOZEN until someone requests something , The manger said They pull the meat out of freezer dethaw it and then fry it . I tried telling him maybe its how it was dethawed but for him saying that by telling me that there food is not fresh food. I called that manger NOT asking for a remake of my order , I didn't call to get a refund . I called because the meat they gave me gave me food poisoning because that meat is contaminated . I thought they would do the right thing to invest my claim by pulling that meat out of the freezer and not serving it to anyone else. But no the manger became very rude and told me that he didn't care what I had to say and he will continue serving his frozen food as if its fresh and never frozen . The manager didn't care about my issue at all and he hung up on me. I did immediately call that restaurant back and it took 10 minutes for someone to answer and as soon as some other man picked up the phone at savvy sliders he said WHAT DO YOU WANT . Wow that is how they address the food service establishment . but anyways that is how my experience went with my order and my complaint. Read moreSo I went in and spent almost $40 to get burnt tenders, boneless wings, two overcooked sliders, and two very small pieces of cake. The cake in the display was 3 times bigger than what they gave to me and the chicken might as well have vileness grilled all the breading came off. I called three times for the staff to always say the manager was doing a delivery and no one there could help me. Finally the manager emailed me back right after I hung up the third time and said he would give me a refund. I emailed over the receipt and it’s been almost 2 weeks. They keep trying to say they did it and to check but I don’t do this often and it hasn’t happened. Finally I came in yesterday to talk to the manager and of course, he wasn’t there. One employee said he was gone for the day and the other said deliveries and as I walked out I heard “your not supposed to tell people that! Your supposed to say he will be back soon!” So the owner has his workers lie for him. He won’t respond to that last email. I wanted and gave them plenty of time to fix it like they promised and they were just hoping I’d forget. To be honest I'd like to live closer so I could come more frequently. The taste of the food was amazing and Carlos delivered a great Customer Service and made really good recommendations 👌.
Been here a couple times since my 5stars review and it was really good but unfortunately none of my routes has come closer so I've been away for a while now. Today my route was near so I was excited to come. I noticed the menu has changed since my last visit as well as the management and employees, anyways I went ahead and ordered the steak house savy and the take down savy, the taste was horrible compared to the ones I used to eat, then ordered the original navy to see if it was just that i ordered the wrong thing, but it was even worse.
